DISHWASHERS

It shouldn't be that much work to use your dishwasher.  Sometimes, if the water is not hot enough, it will leave a residue on your dishes...  but from what you say you have to do BEFORE you even load them into the dishwasher, it sounds to me like you need maintenance.

Give them a call - after all - you ARE paying for a dishwasher that works in your rent!

If you're living in an apartment, call the office (or landlord) and report that the dishwasher is not doing the job.  They should be fixing the problem; you should not have to worry about it.
