Just wanted to introduce myself!
Hi Debbie.....and Welcome!! Yes this is a warm and kind and loving bunch of people and it is so good to hear from new people like you all the time. All of us were NEWBIES at one time or the other and I am one of those NEWBIES but felt welcomed as soon as I posted. Only `11 more days until my Lap RNY surgery on the 19th.

Welcome to OFF, Debby. First off I would like to ask if you prefer Debby or Hope? Which ever you prefer is the one we will call you. Just let us know.

I like both names lol. My nickname is Debby, but I've gotten so use to the name Hope that it holds a special place in my heart. So, I guess I would prefer the username Hope. But I will, of course, respond to Debby as well. Thanks so much for asking!!!

Yes I too check out some of the other boards on OH but there are too many "cat fights" so I know I can always return here to relax and enjoy real friends. My surgery will be 12/10/08 and I'm looking forward to being "on the other side" meaning "losers' bench". Everyone here has been so patient with all my questions and concerns along the way....great group of people.
