The GOURMET COOK in me wants to share a potato soup recipe...
Okay, don't laugh.
I took a box of CHEAP Betty Crocker Scallop Potatoes, crushed them up, added a little chopped onion and celery,and boiled the hell out of them.... put some milk in a bowl and heated it in the microwave and added the cheese sauce and blended, whisked it into the crushed cooked pototoes and added more milk to soup consistency....
I'm going to do that again, but I don't think I'll tell anyone my old family recipe secret.

Hey, anything in a pinch. I was sooo hungry for a cup of potato soup and that's all I could find. It turned out pretty good... in fact, I thought it rather tasty.
I've been known to take a bottle of bbq sauce and squeeze a tomato in it for the seeds and put it in a Mason jar.... old family recipe..:)
Oh, and you can take butter...... don't put it quite to room temperature...then mold it into a ball.... let people think it's FRESH butter....
Everything ain't always what it seems on the surface, yanno.

JeanB Just recently I threw out about 5 year old French butter.... I just kept it in my fridge for the grins...
Oh, and I have condoms in a satin bag in a basket in my bathroom.... I'm sure they are brittle, but the reactions I get from friends when they go to the bathroom...you KNOW they've been peeking....:) (Candy, I didn't have it on the vanity when you were here, darnit.)
