What we are eating and what's eating us.Friday!!
Leftovers! All day!
Breakfast was my usual warmed EAS. The rest of the day will be assorted leftovers. The 2 grandsons spent the night. Our son is hunting and DIL is shopping. So everyone will be eating leftovers all day.
Our son and his family DID get home yesterday, and we were able to eat Thanksgiving about 7 PM.

we had a good turkey day at my sons, he and i did the cooking together.
everything was tasty, of course the one thing we did not make hubby wanted, that was cole slaw. thats my sister in laws job and she was not here, ha ha ha.
anyway i did ok, had some WW pumpkin mousse for dessert . today we will do some shopping i guess but later after all the early birds are done, since we are just doing recreational retail therapy.

Since getting so much fill taken out of my band last week, I have been able to eat anything and everything (and it's showing on the scale), but I managed to get stuck eating turkey last night. I was just as glad to get a reminder that my band is still there.
B: roasted pecan oatmeal w/ skim milk & banana
S: yogurt
L: turkey salad
S: protein bar
D: leftover turkey in sour cream sauce, broccoli
S: SF pudding

Nothing much going on here today so that is a wonderful thing~at least it is to me. Bill goes to work and he works tomorrow too. They fired one of the guys that he worked with and so he is taking some OT. We can certainly use it here! He just told his boss that he won't work on Sunday. He is working OT until they hire someone to replace that guy. Bill seems to think that they won't replace him but I can't see them no doing that.
Dinner was good yesterday. I finally did it too! I made the ham and the ham gravy just like Mom's. I talked to Carla last night and it is like what she said. It was like having Mom and Dad at dinner with us. That made it nice. We had a nice visit and Carolyn finally left to go home at 10 p.m. Boy was I ever tired! I had been up and going non stop since 5:30 and with only 4 hours sleep.

S: sf pudding or popcorn
Nothing happening here with the exception of going to Walgreen's this morning. They have Webkinz' on sale BOGO until 1 this afternoon. I was going to get my great niece 2 of them for Christmas and this way she can get 4~you sure can't beat that one with a stick!
