Me-n-Ed's Pizzeria where you live? I love their sandwiches and salad bar. They do their sandwiches in a box. I love these boxes, they are so sturdy. In fact my Ornament Exchange is being mailed out in one.......I love them......the empty boxes that is..

Hi Darlene. How are you and how was your Thanksgiving? I hope it was good.
We do not have a Me-n-Ed's Pizzeria around here. I don't think I have ever heard of anyone talk about them either so I am betting they are not in the state of Indiana at all.
That is interesting about the boxes. Around here at pizzerias and such you don't even get them in a box~they are wrapped in foil and that is it.
I enjoy hearing about the places that you have in different states and seeing if there are any around here. I include stores and restaurants in that too.

My Thanksgiving was quiet as it was only me and the dog. We stayed in jammies and watched tv all day....it was quiet, phone didn't even ring.....same thing will probably happen at Christmas cept should be going to my daughters...hopefully there will be no drama...my youngest daughter is drama queen.

I know what you mean about being alone, Darlene. I spend a lot of time alone in my house with my kitty.
DS & DIL went to Mexico over Thanksgiving but my sis invited me over to her place....DS will probably go to U.P. of Mich. on Christmas, so I may be alone that day.....I was last year and it was ok.
Good for you recycling the boxes from the pizza and sandwich place.....good steward of paper.....and saving some trees!

they are wonderful boxes....they measure 6 X 9 3/4 x almost 3 1/2 tall.....I love them, gonna have to collect more of them.....might have to bling them up and start selling them....lol
I'm just so tired of being alone. Having my mom here is not the same as having someone you can talk to or share with....mine is forgettful and argues over everything. Lucky for me she went to my youngest daughters to watch my grandson for her while he was out of school on holidays.....

many many years ago , a Girl Scout troop earned lotsa money by decorating boxes that were gotten from a hospital- they had the inserts like "bottle " boxes- and the girls made them for Christmas ornament boxes- sold them for $5 each -i still have my two- very ingenious and very sturdy!!! go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes and I sometimes buy them for my mom who is staying with me. I like the Tuscan Chicken ones on the toasted ciabatta bread. Do I eat the whole thing? No, I can only do about 1/4 of it.
