Hello Sunday! How ya doing?

I got the coupon when I bought a drink on the way to work the other day. Hmmm, I'd think they'd take better care of the person who single handedly keeps that store in business!  Ask them, and if they don't have any let me know and I'll see if I can score another one. Sounds like a drug deal, huh?

The gingersnap doesn't come in sugar free. I don't dump, but would rather not have the added calories, though.

I'm sure everyone will be glad to have you back at work, even without the bribery...LOL

Don't go overdoing it now!

margaret...glad to hear that creena "only" has a bug ...tho that sometimes is distrubing to me- our chico's ailment of early october is still working thru him and we (vet and us) are  not sure what it is. she must be feeling better if she growled at derwood! ( what a cute name!!)

i spent over an hour yesterday re-lighting a huge Christmas wreath that a neighbor had given us a few years ago--had to take off three strings of lights and put on two new ones..and made a big red bow! michael hung it in the eave of our house over the  3 bedroom windows--it looks awesome! then i went looking fo rthe red bows that go on my lighted swag for the fence- whodathunk that i actually rolled them up in the swag!!! so i should put that out today- was gonna yesterday then a blow up occurred....

i think i have mentioned that we are having some computer "issues" - i am not sure what is up and i am praying it doesn't die-have been doing anti virus and spy cleaning and duminig temporary files etc..my computer guru doesn't talk to us anymore ( his wife is the one with ovarian cancer and when she stopped talking we lost him too- i miss them both) and i need some advice but  hey! ..well- it started really acting up again so i shut it down..and not 3 mintes later michael had it on again- i got upset he got more upset words flew-from him--i refused to play --and i ate dinner alone and went to bed- it was only 615 but i wasn't going to stay and play....so he pouted all nite long in the basement -coming up twice to feed chico--he is still down there and quite frankly i don't care. yes; i am a ***** i did manage to get some sleep tho not all thirteen hours worth! even i can't go that long anymore!

so-it should be very interesting at our house today.........i personally cannot take anymore of these fights and just keep praying.....i think 3 and 4 days alone together is toooo much!

not sure what good things are on today's agenda- laundry for one- and my getting ready for monday mode-

have to catch up on the boards -missed last nite
and some knitting that i didn't do last nite- have to get caught up since they are Christmas gifts!

well- i don't know much else right now- so--am seeking computer help tho!
hugs and prayers..................

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Morning all..........we are getting snow here in Iowa.  Should make the Christmas light on homes look very pretty if still snow tonight (and I think it is supposed to continue for that long)  DH is out hunting.  I agree with Margo......3 days together is waaaayyyy too long to be around my DH also!

Had a fun time with grand daughter and our eldest DS.  Our DIL is kind of different.....very intellegent young lady, but very difficult to talk to.  And she can be a little "uppity" which, thank goodness, our son recognizes and will call her on it.  We get along OK but you can always tell when she is not happy and wanting to go back home!  They only live about an hour away from us, but they always stay overnight.  Jared has lots of friends here in town and he has to go have a beer or three with them, thankfully Ebony enjoys his friends and we get Sydney all to ourselves when they go out!!

Finally heard from Jake......he is on a Navy ship somewhere near Africa.  He cannot tell us where he is.  We didn't hear from him for three or four days over Thanksgiving......they took down the internet service for a few days  I guess.  Very nerve wracking for me.......I have WAAAYYY too active of an imagination!

Well, better go.......hugs...........Vickie

Ohhhh    the snow...  How I miss it.  I've always loved snow.  Jus****ching it fall gives
the world a fresh quiet look...... then reality... driving in it, shoveling it,  etc.  I still miss it.

Gotta love the grandkids, nothing like being around them at the holidays.  Glad you enjoyed them.  Millie

Millie,
When it snows here in Spokane, come on over and have a cup of hot chocolate or coffee with me and we can listen to the quiet together!

Millie!
When I was a kid, I lived on Augusta! 1208 E. Augusta! I went to Logan. All my neighbors went to St. Al's! I live about 3 blocks north of Augusta and on the other side of Hamilton now. I moved to Minn. in 6th grade so just went to Logan 1st-5th. Were you around here then? I think we moved in 67-68.

OH MY GAWD...... Cheryl, when I tried to figure out when I went to St. Al's it really jogged the memory.  I was there from 1955-1959...  I must be at least 10 years older...  just turned 60.  I grew up in the Minnehaha area.  We were bussed to school for many years then I went to Cooper grade school,  Shaw Jr high and Rogers HS.  My grandparents lived behind the library, next to St. Al's.  Fond memories for sure.

Hey Millie!

I will be 52 in March. I loved that Library and rode my bike there often.  My daughter went to Shaw then Lewis and Clark. We used to go to Minnehaha park and climb the rocks.
The library is still there but is another business, can't remember what right at the moment. It's just a few blocks from me now.

I went to high school in Yelm, over on your side.

Isn't it funny?
