Good Morning Margaret and everyone.....
Just checking in quickly while Dwayne is making us omelets for breakfast. he is an excellent cook....yummy!!
I met Dwayne's family and had Thanksgiving dinner with all of them yesterday. They are wonderful people and I so enjoyed spending time with them. They treated me just like family. They told me Dwayne has never brought anyone home for the holidays before. Other then his ex wife that is. I was flattered.
Just hanging out for the day waiting to spend time this evening watching the Vikings and Bears game with friends...Go Vikings!

How nice to have connected with Dwayne's family. I envy you that. My recent mini relationship opened up a need for me to have someone in my life. This one ended ... he was widowed only four months before (40 year marriage). It let me see what I have been missing. I don't want to go out and look for someone but am open to the possibility.
Enjoy your guy.. you deserve it. It's always fun to read about your life and what fun you are having.

Yes...I do tend to have a very crazy and exciting life. Always so much going on.....wouldn't want it any other way! I am blessed with so many wonderful and caring friends.....including you!!

My craft room looks like Christmas with all the ornaments I have painted. Some will go to the support groups, others to Catholic Charities.
Lately, I haven't been able to settle down and relax. I move from one project to another, seldom completing anything. I am driving Tom insane. Me too!!!
We need to run to the drug store before an ice storm hits the area. Driving in snow is not good but I won't go out in ICE.
Time to slip on my coat and run. Catch you later.

Good afternoon one and all,
Margaret, glad your pup is feeling a little better. It's so sad when our furry friends are ill since they can't tell us what's ailing them. Our old dog, Sherlock, is getting down in the hind end. It's pitiful to watch him try to lay down or get back up.
Gary and I got going early this morning to get some things done. Went to IHOP for breakfast since Michaels and Linen's and Things weren't open yet. Went to Michaels to have them cut a mat to frame the cover of the magazine that is my DIL's first cover. She did the model's make up and it's beautiful! So, I wanted her to have it to remember, so I think it's a nice Christmas gift. Found two really pretty ornaments for my exchange......watch out.....they're coming to someone soon! Then, we went to Linen and Things where everything is 30% off. Bought a new set of pots and pans. Really didn't want to spend the money, but the set I've been using I bought about a dozen years ago and they were starting to show their age.
We're taking photos today of the Saint Bella products and doing the written descriptions. They should be up and running by mid-week. I'll keep everyone posted on that!
It's a cold, rainy day here. Think I'll put on a pot of curried lentil stew for dinner.

It's 2:30 in the afternoon here in SW Michigan and I'm sitting here at the computer looking out the window and watching a mixture of rain/snow come down. This morning it snowed quite hard but some has melted since...I'm sure my driveway is slippery....maybe I'll ask the neighbor guy to put my garbage pail out for me.
Went to early church and was going to go to Wal Mart, but it was already starting to snow. Stopped by local grocery and bought a whole chicken and a really big sweet potato. Roasted the chicken in a cooking bag and peeled and diced the sweet potato, put on a little olive oil and salt/pepper and oven roasted it too. The chicken was wonderful.....I don't know why I don't do that more often, it is so moist and tender. Cut it all off the bones and will have lots of chicken for this week.
After the sweet taters were done I put them in a dish
and drizzled a bit of s/f maple syrup over them....yummo! Will have them for several more days as well.
Took a nap (about 15 min) and now need to get busy with stitching.
Praying DS and DIL get home safely from Detroit late tonight.
