Happy Sunday update

I am doing alot better than I ever thought I would be.  My surgery took a total of 4 hours and recovery was about 2 1/2 hours.  I went into the surgery room at 10 AM was in my own room by 4:30 PM wow that day flew!  I only had problems with pain because of my fluid intake once I realized that, most of my pain from surgery was tolerable.  I actually had more pain from my back (bad discs and arthritis) than anything else. Boy do I miss the celebrex! LOL  I was released by 11AM on Thursday
We stayed that day and night in our hotel room and came home on Friday.
I have been able to eat 1/4 cup cream of wheat with 2 table spoons of SF vanilla yogurt for breakfast.  1/4 cup cream of potato soup for lunch and the same for dinner.  I have been able to drink enough of the zero carb isopure protein through out the day to get my 60gram min. of protein in each day. So far so good felling better each day. Just really tired go figure, I haven't really done anything!

 Raeann,

Sounds like your surgery and hospital stay went very well.

 CONGRATULATIONS...

A spot is here for you on the loser's bench... come on over.    Remember now to take care of yourself and don't push yourself.  Follow what the Dr orders and you will be up and dancing in no time.    Millie

So....how does it feel to be a loser? Welcome to the loser's bench and I hope that you enjoy the comfy seat with us. We dusted it off just for you.

I am so glad that surgery went well. I am keeping you in prayers for a speedy and pain free recovery. Just remember to sip and walk and in no time at all you will be back to your new self.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Rae Ann...You sound like you are doing great and I am so happy for you.  You were a week behind me.....I am doing good too but for the fatigue...must be the rapid weight loss and body trying to adjust to everything.

Keep up the good work.
