Its Monday, December 1st. Whats New with all of you!!!!!
Hey Hey Hey!!!!!
Welcome to Monday, Also to boot it is December 1st!!!!! Just 24 more days and it will be another Christmas and Chanukkah. Man how this year just flew by.
I have to work today from 9 to 5 and gear up for this week. I have 2 medical appointments. One for a Abdominal CT and one to see the ENY about my thyroid nodules. So I will have a busy week.
My daughter goes home tomorrow afternoon. I sure will miss her and her boyfriend. They had 2 full days at Busch GArdens.I went on Friday with them and Carl and then just yesterday they went again withh CArl.
I made a Turkey breast, Green beans. Stuffing and a sugar Free pumpkin Pie.
I was stuffed after about 4 bites.
Liz trimmed the back of my head. I am trying real hard to grow my hair out.
It rained very hard all day here so business wasnt too bad. It was slow.
Well talk on my friends. Ill check back later to see how everyone is.

Good morning, my sweet Carla! It is so nice to see you starting the thread today. It isn't Monday here yet~got another 40 minutes to go until then.
It is snowing here now. I guess they are expecting more snow during the night. Personally I think that the snow can go back to where it came from and just leave us alone. I already have had my share of it and that was a couple of weeks ago. We got about 7 inches then. It started early this year and I hope that isn't a sign of it just staying with us! I want snow for Christmas Eve night and Christmas morning and then it can go away and not return.
Bill and I met Shawn (DS) and played some pool with him tonight. While we were there we were watching the Bears and finished watching it here at home. Unfortunately they lost but it is like I told Bill~they tried and that is the important thing. I told him that I don't like it when they lose but they don't either. I don't care if they win or lose (but then again the winning is a lot better!) they are my team and I will stick with them no matter what. I feel the same way about the wonderful White Sox too. To me those are the best 2 teams around!
I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. Nothing but my normal pcp visit. I do think that I am getting a sinus infection so the appointment is happening at a good time. I will get an anti~biotic and get that taken care of right at the start. I have so many of them during the winter months. I just hate them. I know it is here because I am waking up with sinus headaches in the morning.
Tuesday morning we are meeting DS and DIL at the hospital for Baby Whozits ultrasound. We will find out if we are having a girl or a boy. I am so excited. I know that when Bill sees it he will start getting more excited too. He is so afraid when it comes to getting excited about babies since the experiences we had were not happy ones. I know that once he sees the baby and hears their heartbeat the whole thing is going to hit him. Then watch out because Baby Whozit's grandpa is going to be busy shopping I think. Of course we all know that grandma already is. ha ha Of course all of my OFF family will know just as soon as I hit the front door after we leave the hospital!
Well, I had better get to going. I am tired and my nice warm and cozy bed is calling me. It just keeps raising it's voice too~so it is in a hurry for me to join it. ha ha I am sending love and hugs to everyone and special prayers are going up for all. Keep smiles on your pretty and handsome faces~it brings happiness to you and everyone you meet.

George, good job on keeping the scale steady. This time of the year it's all we can hope for. Well, that and World Peace, but I'm a realist and I know the scale is something I can control...lol

Evelyn, Laguna Beach was a second home to me while I was growing up. My Great Aunt lived up on the hill that overlooks the ocean on one side and the canyon on the other. In fact, she lived next door to Rock Hudson and Jim Neighbors. Used to sit on her patio and spy on them with her opera glasses. She was a dear!
Last night we took photos of all of our products to get onto etsy.com. Gary will process them tomorrow night, pretty them up a bit and hopefully Tess will get it all figured out and we'll be selling by the weekend. Sales this weekend were pretty good at the cosmetic boutique where she works. Encouraging, to say the least. My salon owner is going to carry some too.....put up a shelf just for it near my station so I can answer questions.
Gary's been going to estate sales and garage sales and then listing the items on e-bay. He's made over $1100 this last two weeks. Sure helps the bottom line this time of the year.
Well, my friends, gotta go get moving for the day. Lots to do and a short time to get there!

It is barely Sunday however I just got home from watching the Vikings/Bears game with friends. Wooohooo....the Vikings won!!
I had a fabulous four day weekend with my honey. He is such a sweetheart. I feel like I am dreaming all this!!
I spoke with my daughters and grandchildren off and on all weekend. All is well with all of them. I am counting the minutes until I can be with them at dinner on Tuesday evening!! Nic will be at Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis on Tuesday and Wednesday. He will mostly just be having scans and such done. It won't be so hard on him this trip.
I will check back in to see how everyone is later this morning.

Making my plans for my Vegas trip. Nine nights this time. Silly, I know, because we are not gamblers. We will probably be staying at Circus Circus this time. We will actually only stay at the hotel probably 7 or 8 nights. We have a graduation to go to in California, 3 hours away. See what happens. And we will be celebrating our 35th anniversary while there.
The weekend was good to me weightwise. Stayed steady. That's all I ask for.
Most of our Christmas shopping is done. And what is not done, we pretty much know what we are getting.

I made it through the holiday weekend without gaining weight - and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Lots of cooking, fun and chatting. I went to a big crafts fair and found the ornaments that I will be mailing to "my" secret ornament buddy.
Today will be a full day, as our office catches up from a 4-day weekend. I am planning to take another three day weekend this week, and go to Laguna Beach. We will go on a whale watching cruise, and spend the rest of the time just pampering ourselves and enjoying the coast. It's the off season, so the prices are good but the beach is still so beautiful and sunny. We are spoiled out here with our California weather!
I've had the oddest allergic reaction the past few days, Itching all over my arms and back. No changes in detergents, soaps or foods, so I'm not sure what is going on. All I can say is that Benadryl is a life-saver! Hope it's gone before the weekend, or I'll look like I have the measles at the beach!
