If you lost as much as you hoped/planned/ wished for ? I have lost a total of 106.6 pounds and it is more than I ever hoped for. I would like to lose another 30 pounds but if I don't lose another pounds I am eternally grateful for this new life.
If you are pre op have you had to or did you lose any in preparation ?
Are you married, single, divorced, widowed, seeing someone ? I am married to Bill for 20 years. We knew each other for a week when we got married. Thank God that it worked out!
Do you have children ? if so - how many, how old ? I have 1 step son, Shawn who is 28 years old. He is married to Carol and we are having our first grandchild who is due to appear on April 22, 2009. My 3 children with Bill passed away before birth. They were named Victoria Leigh, Amanda Louise and Jonathan Vincent.
Do you have pets? if so- how many, how old ? I have my Misty, who started out my furbaby, then went to furbrat and is now my furmonster. I can't complain since I made her the furmonster. She is 6 years old, or at least I think she is. Bad Mama, I can't remember.
Do you work outside your home , retired , in between ? I am suppose to be retired but I am looking for a part time job~but would consider a full time too!
What kind of job do/did you have ? I was a nursing assistant in a nursing home and also in private homes, a phone operator for an answering service and I worked for Wal Mart too for a short time.
What's you favorite type of music, movies, books? I like country music along with classical, oldies and Christian. My favorite movies are mostly chick flicks now along with mysteries. I love to read books on serial killers (no I am not one. I just like to try to figure out the way their brains work.) and mysteries and cook books too. I am reading a Thomas Kincaid book right now. He is a excellent writer.
What do you enjoy in your free time ? I enjoy reading mostly. I also like to do word puzzles and I am into computer solitaire too.
Do you live in the same community you were born, raised in ? I live in Portage, IN but was raised in Chesterton, IN. They are about 10 minuets apart. They are both in Porter County.
What part of the U.S are you in now ? ( just city and state ) Portage, Indiana
What are you paying for a gallon of gas , a gallon of 1% milk, a lb. of bananas this week ? I think the gas is going for $1.58 a gallon. I never thought that it would go that low. It is kind of scary to me it is that low. The milk is $2.45 a gallon at Aldi's and about that on sale at the grocery stores and the pound of bananas are about .64 a pound.
Got a favorite flower, color, flavor, scent ? My favorite flower is the lilac and the violet. My favorite color changes at different times. Right now it is emerald green. I never liked it before (it is my birthstone too) but now I think it is just beautiful. I do also like red, purple and Sapphire blue. I am not really crazy over pink or brown though. My favorite flavor is hazelnut and my favorite scent is lilacs and for perfume it is Sand and Sable.

I had the RNY in On July 26th 2004 and lost 170 pounds more than I ever dreamed possible and gained an active life that Inever dreamed possible.
I have been happily divorced for 14 years. Was engaged to Chuck for a couple of years but now we just date. I just can't be happy overly connected to a man.
I have 3 bio-kids.. a son 37, a son 33 and a daughter 30. Raised a girl from the age of 5 who came as a foster child ( I had 19) she is now 23.
I have one sweet black cat, Coffee, the real love of my life, she is 4-5 years old.
I am on disability because of Rhum arthritis, but I work 20 hpurs a week at the Salvation Army /Early Head Start program as a Health Services Specialist.
I like modern country music , or Praise and Worship music. But honestly I prefer quiet, I just put on music if I want to clean. I love historical fiction, with a true crime thrown in now and then.I like movies of true stories, and a good ol "chick flick" and anything with Jimmy Stewart in it.
In my free time I love to be out in nature, a park, a lake, exploring a historical site( with my wonderful grandkids). Doing a craft or project of some kind, or curled up with a good movie in my fluffy warm socks.

I found a gas at 1.52 this week whoo hoo. I was floored when I went to buy bread for turkey sandwiches, I don't buy bread, dang most loaves were over $3.25. Finally found a stor brand for around $2. Not sure about the milk or bananas.
My favorite flowers are, yellow roses( funny cause I don't like the color yellow) or liliacs. My fav color is RED.
Now I have no secrets from you all.

11. My favorite music is old time rock n' roll from the 60s and 70s. I love movies that are full of suspence and thrills. I enjoy reading bookd like Harry Potter, true stories and mysterys.
