.... and it really seemed to go well! .... he was ex Navy, and I am ex Coast Guard.... so after we had the fist fight it went pretty good

.... kidding of course.... although I did flatten his tires in the parking lot... hope he didn't see me

I did say "I was a Chief Boatswains Mate, so being ex Navy you know what I am capable of" and he said "I sure do" .... so that is a good thing.... unless a Chief Boatswains Mate flattened his tires once .... hehehe.....

He said, and I quote "I am making you a tentative offer now, but it still has to go through HR"

I am pretty sure that is a good thng... isn't it??

Will be waiting for the call now.....

When I would be talking to Marines, I used to say "You know what the Marines and Coast Guard have in common?" .... they were or course thinking "not a thing!" .... and I would say "They both hate the Navy" ... heheh... never failed to get a chuckle....

A tentative offer sure sounds like a good thing to me! Now you just have to go through the usual HR reference and background check and stuff like that, I guess.
