I'm a little irritated.

 You can always tell what nurse is a nurse because they care and who is there just for the job and the money and she sounds like the latter of the two.

Please don't wait until it gets unbearable~and don't worry about making a fool of yourself. You know yourself better than anyone whether they have a degree or not. You sometimes wonder how some people get their degrees anyway. Be your own advocate and make sure you let the doctor know what happened and take names!!!!!

I would either say something to the doctor about the nurses attitude with you or I would find another doctor. Your health is too important to have someone dismiss you like that.  There are lots of doctors who have caring, empathic staff.  Why pay someone to treat you like a moron. I just can't put up with that stuff anymore.

go to his office tomorrow and just sit there and wait to be seen. And show some pain and discomfort while your in the waiting room so the others can see....not good PR for the doc, I'm sure you would be seen soon...

Your surgeon is responsible for you and your stuff for 7 years.....in the mean time you should be educating your PCP cause not all things need to go to the surgeon.....but let me know how the magazine reading goes in the waiting rooom....
