I am feeling down tonight - Help me smile
Oh, George, I'm so sorry you are down. Yep, grandkids will sure make you smile.
Or a good joke. I just can't think of one right now. My Gramma had a ton of them. ANYTHING you said, made her think of a joke. One summer my Sissy and I spent hours trying to write them all down as she told them. We couldn't keep up! Some of them were quite risque'! She was in her 80's at the time.
Well, George, you managed to make me smile, just thinking of Gramma Bea!
I hope by this time of the morning you are feeling better.
You not only have your great grands but the marriage that you and Mary have is a wonderful and bonding one. You have many years together and without the marriage that you two have you would have such a different life than the one you have now. Your children are blessings to, even is sometimes they are in disguise! Sometimes children has a way of keeping the blessing of them hidden at times. It isn't them as people but just them as our children. But then again someday if we are lucky they will have children who give to them many fold what they gave to their parents! That is the joy of being a grandparent!
Just keep your chin up and know that things will get better. Know that you have unconditional love and acceptance here with all your brothers and sisters. I am keeping you in my prayers and know that God will answer them in His time and no one else's. Just keep the faith, dear brother, keep the faith!
LMAO @ judy..Surely that made you smile George.
It's not always easy to keep a smile on our faces 24/7. It's ok to be down every once in awhile though. It makes us appreciate the good things in our lives and make us happier when we get that smile back.
You hang in there George and keep thinking of those precious kids. You're smile will come back big and strong!
BIG HUG
Pam
