That is the way it is with my Grandson Ty.  Though he is not my "blood" grandson, he has been in our lives since he was a year or so old.  He says I am HIS Grandma.  He is 10 now.

My Granddaughter has Brownies today and I am going to her meeting with her.  It just keeps getting better as they grow up!

Enjoy!

Jeane, thanks so much for sharing that with me. I know that love has no boundaries and no knowledge of what is "blood" and what is not. I am going to love little Caleb just as if he was mine~and he is!

Grandma kisses are getting built up for him. ha ha

I bought a book the other day about Grandparents and grandchildren. It is about grandma bear talking to little bear about what Heaven is. It is so many things and in the the end it says that Heaven Is Having You. That is the title of the book. Bill and I said that we are making it a tradition that when Caleb comes to Grandma and Grandpas house that is going to be read, from the time he is born and just continues.

Sheri, I love shopping for little girls but I am not having a problem with shopping for a boy that is for darn sure. I stopped at Wal Mart and got him a couple more things for Christmas. So far he has 4 things from Santa and he isn't even going to be here. Oh well, such is life in grandparent land!

I got him a soft blankie that is satin on one side and velvet on the other and a book about grandma and grandpa bear with their grandbaby bear. It is one with washable pages and talks about how wonderful life is with your grandchild. I just couldn't resist it!

Oh my sister from another mother~you get to see the ultrasound pictures when I come up to your house on Christmas. How lucky are you? ha ha I promise that I will show you the pictures and then I will not keep talking about him~that can be boring and I refuse to be boring. Yes~this old grandma is on a shopping spree for the new little on in my family!

Cheryl, this is beyond feeling anything that I have felt before. It is totally amazing to me that you can love another human being this much.

Thanks so much for the blessings. We all need as many of them as we can get, don't we?

I am sure if Caleb could talk yet, and I have no doubt that he will take after his Grandma in that catagory, he would say thank you too.
