Oh, how terrible and Mom so far away and can't be there to make it better.   Your daughter will be in my prayers for sure......my prayer list gets longer every day.

Hugs.

Well, I just heard from our daughter.  The eye specialist says he doesn't think there will be any permanent damage, but healing will take quite awhile.  She has to go back to see him at 9 AM tomorrow.  She still can't see out of that eye.

She is taking percocet, but it doesn't touch the pain, just makes her dopey.  She took 3 in 2 hours, with no relief.  She is afraid to take any more.  She did get some eye drops which numb it up great.  But it only lasts 10 minutes.  The doc told her to use them sparingly because her eye will get used to them, and after awhile they won't be affective anymore.

She called her husband before he left home and told him not to come, there is nothing he can do.  They have 2 kids who are involved in a lot of activities, and have to be driven to and from school (private school, quite aways from their house, no bus).  So he stayed home.  The corp. secretary is staying at the hotel with her to babysit and then she will take her home tomorrow.

Our daughter has worked for this corp since high school.  It's the only place she has ever worked.  So they are pretty much like her family.  She started as a crew person and is now the VP of operations and franchisee and runs 40 Taco Bells in the Northwest.

Thank you all for your prayers.  They DO work!

That will be a blessing if there is no permanent damage to the eye.  I hope the pain subsides soon.

I am so happy that the specialist doesn't think there is any permanent damage done.

It is going to take time for the healing to happen. But thank God that there will be healing. Now prayers for the pain and the patience with the healing. God will continue to take care of her.

Hugs and love to you, Mom, because it is so hard to be away from them when you want to be there just to touch them and know they are alright.

Please keep us posted on how she is doing.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
