Update on our daughter

Our daughter is back home.  She has 20/80 vision in that eye and it should improve slowly.  She is wearing a contact bandage that has to be changed daily.  She will go to an eye doctor close to her home until she is cleared.  The pain is still severe.  She can't use the drops very often and they are the only thing that relieve the pain.  The percocet wasn't working for her, so the doc wrote an RX for vicodan.  Her DH is getting it filled now, he is going to try to get it in liquid form (the big pills are hard for her to swollow).

Daughters are so important to us. I hope everything goes well for her.

It is good to hear that, although painful, it is heading in the right direction... that is, toward recovery....

I have thinking about that darling girl all day.  I am so sorry but glad to hear that the Doc's are on top of it and I pray for a speedy recovery for her.  I have burned my forehead or temples many times and know how horribly that hurts so I cannot imagine the pain she is going through with her eye.

I have been thinking about your daughter ever since you posted about her accident and wondering how she was doing.   What a horribly painful thing to happen to her.
I'm awfully glad to know that her eye will heal.   Hopefully, the pain will start to subside soon.

I was thinking about your daughter today too, as I was curling my hair with a curling iron.  I am so sorry she is still in pain, but glad that her vision is improving!  I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

Glad to hear that your daughter is doing somewhat better.  I cannot even begin to imagine the pain she must be in!!

I know you are very glad your daughter is home and that it seems things will continue to improve.  I just hope they are able to get the pain under control for her soon.

I am most certainly praying that things continue to improve and that the pain is soon able to be relieved. I have been thinking of her and hoping that things are going well. It is going to be helpful that she is back home again since you have a tendancy to feel better just being home.
