A Major Setback - and I'm One Grateful Woman

You are in my prayers. Thank God you didn't miss your apointment. How scarey! I am glad you are home and safe from a heart attack. I was going to try and talk my PCP out of having a stress test---not any more---I am going to ask for one. Since I can't use the treadmill, I will have to have the one where they speed up the heart with medicine. My back hurts so bad that I have been dreading it---now I am grateful I now know how important that test can be---that you for sharing.

I had to reread this outloud to my hubby, who in a RN he worked in ICU for years....when I got to the words burning lungs...........he said "burning lungs ^&*()*&^%$$ I can't type what he really said.
He had never heard of someone saying they had burning lungs.
I am so glad you had the test and on the way to recovery.

Funny thing, that is just about what the surgeon said too! He said my poor heart was deprived of oxygen and when I think that I had been pushing myself daily to get beyond that 'lung burning'. Good grief. I saw the exercise psychologist in September! I'm very lucky I did not push myself to the breaking point!
I think everything i****ting me now that I'm home than it did in the hospital. I'm pretty weepy today and having a pity party. I think tho that I've attended this party long enough, because what I should be doing is jumping up and down and celebrating.
I am so grateful for how this turned out. I am one lucky woman!
