IT's THURSDAY - Where's Eileen? WHAT'S NEW WITH YOU?
Dear OFF friends,
It's a good day to be alive... why ??? I dunno .. it just is.
Reading all the post gives me a sense of happiness that everyone is doing well, or at least is faking it well... ha ha
Today I'm getting out.... getting my hair trimmed. I don't know about others but I hate looking at my hair in the mirror. I use to have such thick hair that I would think it would be nice to lose some of it... NOT .... now I think I have lost over half... sheeshhh vanity - vanity. It's hard to do anything with it. I have a new style to help look fuller... yeah right. LOL sigh Won't talk about the wrinkly butt and sagging boobs.
Yesterday I had my three year old grandson help me decorate one of the little areas in the apt. A buffet top is where I put the gingerbread style houses along with little Hallmark critters. He had such a good time getting into the ornaments and unwrapping them. * curiosity * So fun and so sweet. He is having his "burfday paree" on Sat. He will be having cupcakes and balloons... and presents. Oh the joys of being three..... a whole world out there to explore.
I've been hiding away in my sewing room. Once I get my Christmas gifts done I'll start on some personal sewing. I have six bathrobes for the grands done, now have a couple of redesigned sweatshirts to finish. I had a friend put some machine embroidery work on them then I cut them apart to make jackets. Looks very nice and they make nice gifts. I get the audiobooks and listen to the stories while sewing. It sure makes the day go fast and I get a lot done.

All is well in my corner of the world. Cold at night, low 70s during the day, not nearly enough rain yet. Are you sure this is December?
Yard is still a mess from the last storm and all the leaves and branches falling. I fired up the woodstove last night and hauled the trash to the curb but still haven't unpacked from my Oregon trip or even thought about holiday decorations or presents. I've been going to bed fairly early and after working all day, it doesn't leave much time for chores. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Probably time to see the chiropractor again since I've been having some nagging aches and pains. Tonight I must balance checkbook and pay bills including property tax which I mustn't forget about.
I'm getting the insurance explanations from my WLS now and they are refusing to cover the assistant surgeon. I didn't even know there was one. Any one else have this problem?

EXCUSE ME.. I posted a good hour ago about getting my new puter. I see the post is gone, do you suppose they pitched my post just because I had the name brand in it?? I wasn't selling anything I was just reporting for gosh sakes and I also asked for suggestions for a cheap internet provider..grrrr. Well I suppose when I pull up theboard again it will be back and I will look like the village idiot ( oh well every village needs one) Ionly have a minute. Liz stopped by here at the office , her docs office is just a couple minutes away and she is doing the glucouse test.. ewwwww. She had an hour to kill. She sat here and cried from happiness, only 9 weeks to go, the doctor went throught all the babies organs and how every thing looks perfect. I guess they will have her deliver at 36 weeks that puts it the first week in February. This week end they are buying the paint so soon I will be painting the nursery. Happy happy dance, it is a good day. I don't work tomorrow . Plan on putting up my Christmas decorations. Have a great day and week end. Soon I will have internet and will actually be able to talk with you all on weekends..yippeeeee
