Teresa, I hope that you soon feel better. It isn't fun falling and hurting yourself. Not by a long shot. It is bad enough if you do it on your own but when you are knocked over by a dog~and a Lab at that it is more painful.

I know that Labs are puppies until they are about 3 years old. They continue to act like puppies and chew like them too. They are most certainly furbrats but they are just furbabies too in another way. They are so sweet and loyal and most of all loving in the end they are so worth it.

I agree that maybe obediance training is in order. I know that when I had a dog that was like that we took him to classes and it helped him tremendously. He came from an abused home and was so similar but in the end was one wonderful dog and I love and miss him to this day. His name was Fred and I use to call him Frederick Von Pain In The A$$ since he needed so much attention he would never leave you alone as long as you were awake. What I wouldn't give to have him here with me today. You miss them so when they are gone. But he is waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge, I firmly believe that.

Good luck with your furinbetween.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Boy, you all sure make me want a pet......:)

I found the perfect one at WalMart.... $99.  It's voice activated...BIG...not a little thing for sure... it will bark, shake hands, beg, lay down, not sure about rolling over, chew a bone, etc.  Folks, it won't knock you down but could trip you if you put it where you walk, but it won't kill your budget for food and it won't poop on your carpet and there will be no vet bills.  Since it won't eat and poop here, I couldn't expect it to pay half my bills.  As far as snuggling with me in bed, I'll stick with the heating pad and my blankie.

I'm learning more everyday why I'm single and will stay that way....

Nothing happening much in my world.  Since I've got my passwords settled in for work again, I can access from home...yep...2 hours yesterday.  I'm anticipating about 4 today.  Did get a little shopping done yesterday for Christmas... I'm pretty much done except for gift cards. Now to the wrapping.  I bought TONS of wired ribbon so I can make gorgeous bows and some pretty tags... seems a shame but they look so pretty...

Ate at Costco yesterday....love those samples...for us WLS'ers it's a meal.  Wasn't free.  I spent $80.

Sat in the cold (okay, cold for HERE) and watched Float #97 come by with my grandkids...gotta love it.... Euless Christmas Parade...even had the garbage trucks in it....cleaned, of course.  Always fun at Christmas.  I walked the route with them last year but this year they had a float.  I was sidelined.  But now my throat is raspy and I'm drinking hot tea hoping that's the cure.

Today is.... a long soak....$4....work on house.....pick up bike at WalMart for nephew....wrap packages.....work on work....oh, crap...I've got a ticket for tonight to Taste of Colleyville and a concert...forgot about that.... neighbor gave it to me....   Okay...I've found at least SEVEN things planned for today....anyone want to take bets on how many I get accomplished?

Janet

Hi Debbie, hope you slept well.

Gary had to go work this morning. They do surprise drug testing on the participants in his probation unit, so he'll be making quite a few folks angry with calls at 7:00 on Sunday morning. I'm taking the opportunity to get some major things done here. Between his e-bay stuff and my Saint Bella, our home has very little identity of it's own left, so I'm going to try to rectify that.
Tess can't really help. She has this surgery coming up on Tuesday and now her mother is in ICU 2 hours from here. She (the mom) has been abusing Rx drugs for sometime and was found unresponsive on the floor Friday night. NOT what Tess needs right now. So, between cleaning and  fragrancing and bottling lotions, I'll be cooking up a storm so they can have some ready to eat meals in their fridge while she's recuperating.

$4???   Bet I'll need $12-16   LOL

Everyone have a dandy day!  Hugs to all

Someday....maybe. You have to have 30,000 units in stock before they'll talk to you. Since it's a two girl operation now 30,000 of ANYTHING is just nutz
