Hi,I hope every one is doing well.It is easy to become rundown this time of year.I was talking to a friend and in that process,I realized I was expecting WLS to cure me,it took away some things, but not all....
B-Scrambled egg L- Beef and Barely soup D- Spinach Quiche
S- Apple and peanut butter...
One day at a time,I must accept and love myself. One day at a time,I have to accept my own realities.

Hi, Linda:

As usual I had a very busy Sunday morning and need to be back at the church for play practice at 3.

I had instant oatmeal with part of banana in it plus a protein shake for breakfast.

I had leftover shrimp and mashed potatoes, diet pudding and some almonds for lunch (and I am still hungry but am going to have a cup of decaf. tea and try to quit)

Supper will be Mrs. Finhouser's brunswick stew and crackers.

Snack will be cheese sticks and another dish of diet pudding.

Hope to have a quiet evening at home.

It is terribly cold today!

Thanks

Jeane.

Hiya Jeane, wow,I have nothing but coffee, will get to breakfast soon...
I wonder what is keeping you hungry. Have you checked your crackers to make sure they are not made with enriched flours, they could say wheat, and still have it.
If we eat these flours, they set up cravings for us..
Please get back to me. It is soooo good to log your food, then we can pinpoint when we were craving more food. It also lets us know if the cravings are chemical, or emotional.
Lots of of emotional stuff this time of year....yuck!
I hope you have a warm.comfy rest of the day!

Hi, Linda:

I don't know what is keeping me craving food, but I still am not feeling much restriction even after my 2nd fill.

The crackers probably do have wheat flour in them, I haven't been watching that very much.

Tomorrow is another day and I will try to keep myself under control.

I already know Breakfast will be a poached egg with a slice of whole wheat toast with diet marg.
I have a protein shake before I leave the house at 8;30 as I don't do any snacking at the office.

Lunch will be the leftover soup that is in the refridgerator and an apple with peanut butter.

I will have another shake in the afternoon.

Supper we are eating out.  I know they will have turkey and will try to make healthy choices (it is a pot lucK.)

I was really hoping this surgery would help my cravings, but so far not much.  I am definitely not eating what or the amount I was before surgery, but I am not eating the right amount either, still too much.

I have my 3 month checkup Dec. 22 and will see what the surgeon says about the weight loss so far.

Thanks for being there.

Linda,

Sure come on over.   I sure cant eat much.

I always think I will have some leftovers for tomorrow but then I find John eats alot more than he should.  I will  start putting some aside for tomorrow before I bring the food to the table.  He doesnt know it yet but his diet has  started.  I go back to work this week so I will need leftovers for lunch.  That will make things easier for me.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday,

JoAnn

Hello Linda and all my OFF friends.........
I had my first experience (since surgery 11/19 ) at a restaurant.  My DH and I always have breakfast at our favorite restaurant after church on Sundays.  Well, this was my first time not ordering whatever I wanted.  My DH had a big platter of french toast, eggs , sausage AND bacon and of course smothered it in Maple Syrup.  Something I would have done a few months ago.  Well I ordered one egg over easy and a slice of crisp dry toast.  I mopped up the yolk on my 1/4 slice of toast.  No coffee, juice or water of course!!  It was strange to say the least but that is how it'll have to be .  As I progress to further foods, etc. it won't be as hard to order.  I was very much satisfied with what I ate though.  Like I said before:
STRANGE!!  LOL

Laugh!! i Sandy, what you have said is so true!! Eating lighter will become such a habit, you will wonder how and why you ate so much before,as you progress,it will be easier.
I pass by some of my prior binge places.and now all I smell is grease!
You will also be repulsed at the way others eat,not DH...smile.
So....keep on keeping on!!
The snow man is even smaller than last year,LOL!
