Connie you are so lucky to have found a man that likes you for you and was willing to allow a relationship to "blossom".

I just hate this rush to the sack crap ... I really do! I want MORE ... YIKES!

But ... I want the MORE first! haha

I am very lucky...Dwayne treats me like a princess!!

This starting a new relationship and going at MY own pace is all new for me. I really am calling the shots here and it feels so liberating. I am too old for games!

All the changes our bodies have made both physically and mentally since weight loss surgery is so worth it!!

Don't settle for less!!!

THAT is what I WANT ...

I am way too old for games too (that is why I asked if men ever grow up?). I am totally amazed at the crap I get. Now no offense to bikers or anyone else, but when you look at my pic do I look like I belong on the back of a harley? or with some long haired wild man? And then they want to argue when you try to be NICE and kindly let them know WE wouldn't be compatible. Then there are the guys who are just wanting to get you horizontal. YIKES! I just hope this one I have been communicating with for a while now (telephone) is as good as he sounds. I can pack a pretty mean right hook if needed ... haha.

The other one I am interested in seems really nice (and a gentleman). Unfortunately he was called out of town for Mom issues.

OMGoshh I SOOO know where your coming from. I was married for 23 years. Didn't even think of dating for 3 years after. Once I finally decided to try I was excited. Oh boy, it will be so nice to date a grown-up!! No silly horney teenager games.. NOT.. my experience is now they were just horny 50 year olds. I dated a therapist, a religious school administrator( who ended up to be married) A public official. and many many more.Even had a 26 year old who was dating my daughter tell me, "I don't want her I want YOU".. Good grief!! I don't "come on" to guys. I just wanted a friendship that may or may not grow. The first guy ( the therapist ,said we are all out here to have sex, so you may as well decide to join in) After the disaster with Chuck ( no physical relationship there, and that was not my idea) I have decided it just isn't worth it. My life is full.

Oh Jean ... I have younger men contacting me like crazy!!!!!!! Oh please! I raised one son already! YIKES! I guess we are naiive? I don't know. That is amazing that a shrink actually said that to you. I am glad you weren't lying on his couch ... ahhhhhhhhh! haha

I did without so darn long (probably how I got so darn fat) and the kid is grown and gone and I am getting myself together now so I thought it would be nice to DATE. Well obviously men view DATING differently than we gals do. My possibly Thursday date got moved to this Tuesday night (he wanted to see me tonight!!!!!!! no way! I need TIME ... haha). Romantic dinner at HIS PLACE ... uh huh. So I will be geared up in my chastity belt (aka body shaper), tights, jeansw/belt ... lol.

I am going to try to stay optomistic. There is another man I met that seems really nice. He wants to take me OUT to dinner. I think I prefer OUT this early in a relationship.
