My wife comes home early from work.... she's sick...

Now I am running a fever and feel like crap....

You have my deep sympathy. But...when life gets tough(or when you get sick in your case) you have to toughen up and go to work.  Then look like hell and stay home the next day...at least they know you were really sick.  Good luck with your new job...thinks will be sunny soon.
