Darlene,

If a man ever gets past my neck, he's mine anyway.

I'm tellin' ya...find a teaching hospital and go for the Plastic Surgery Residency Program. They are good and they are more than half of what you are quoting.

I've been wearing bigger sizes forever just for the panni and butt.  You might want to look at clothes with more spandex and get a little smaller size that will stretch.... Also, have you looked at Spanx?

Darlene...you are so beautiful. Both of us have dogears and that just how it is...I wish one of us would win the lottery and then we would both get out bodies fixed!! My surgeon left the state shortly after he had 6-8 unhappy patients. Not only do I have dogears but I also have a  bulge right under my belly button where some stitches broke lose on the inside shorly after surgery. The good dr told me it was swelling and it would go away and now after 6 years its still swollen. In fact I have had infection right under the "swollen" area where my button and zippers have cut into my stomach because my jeans wont stay up and slips down under the "swollen" spot. So i tell everyone who's looking of a plastic dr to do allll there homework and talk to some of their patients...It "our" bodies and we have worked long and hard to shed the pounds so make sure the plastic dr knows what he is doing and will make it right in the end.....Beth

I have come in from work and boy, am I glad I stopped long enough to read this post... I have laughed over yours, Darlene, and then Linda, then Marc, and back to Darlene and Engel....

I am no where near ready for PS, but I tell you, ya'll are tough chicks to go thru the surgery and then laugh about the whole thing.. Linda has particularly had me in stitches...

Take care of yourselves..

I know you are serious baby. I know how much this has affected your life.I was serious too,I do not think you should let you stop your dancing,or closeness. Honestly,I was telling you how I deal with my imperfections.
I have always enjoyed bedroom fantasy play, and this has been my way of getting pass my own hang ups.
I think if you get so close to a man,you should do what makes you happy.
I want you to be happy, and that is no joke,promise..
To be honest,I do not think any of us are 100 percent comfortable with our bodies, and have a life time of how we did not get naked with our lovers.Yet,I do not know this to be true. I think if the right one comes along, you will get around it.
I think if the right one comes along for me,he too will have his own imperfections..but things really do feel nice in the dark, and there may be places he will not want touched, but we can still love and have our intimacy.
Hugs!

oh Darlene ... I am so sorry if I hurt your feelings by laughing about my own fugly excess skin issues. Sometmes it is easier to laugh than to cry (for me). I still don't know what dogears are though but it is obviously very painfull emotionally for you (((((( hugs ))))) and we all do care about you and your situation.

I am finally catching up with the weekend posts....WOW...glad I checked in!!

I haven't had plastics so I can't relate with the dogears issues however I can relate to being with a man naked and having saggy skin!!
I have been with Dwayne for a while now. Needless to say the first time was kind of scary for me. Yes ,I am thin but I have my share of loose skin. I hate my skin but he doesn't have an issue with it at all. Now we both walk around naked all the time. He has taught me to love myself just as I am. He said he wants to be with me because of who I am . He always tells me how beautiful I am and how happy he is being with me. What a super guy!!
I guess I would just talk it over with your guy and let him know how you feel. No one is perfect....we all have things about ourselves that we don't like. Don't let the dogears stop you!!

Hugs....connie d

Wow Connie ... could you please clone your man?????? You are so lucky to have met someone like him that loves you for you and as you are ... and most importantly he has taught you the most important thing ... to love yourself. I was reading that men find THAT very sexy (attitude).
