On the 4th day of Christmas,my grandkids made me smile,as they talked of the meaning of the day,and all the commericialism was wiped away.

Jingle Bells must be what I am hearing in my head today, Linda!  Thanks for clearing that up!  Made roast beef yesterday and I found something I don't think I should eat...... that's a first for me.  Didn't get sick but tough to digest.  It's all good though!  Today will be light foods for me.

B-AchievOne
L-cottage cheese w/yogurt
S-Protein shake (I think)
D-we'll see how the day progresses!

Morning Linda and Kathi,
I thought I was just "dingy" when I hear bells...he he he!

Up early this morning, made my fav ff cottage cheese,
jello, pineapple, cool whip dish.....and also put taco chicken in the slow cooker.  Kids are coming tonite for our Christmas and I will order a pizza, but will only eat the toppings and a salad.

It is so bitter cold here, yesterday the wind chill temps were 27 degrees BELOW ZERO.    My garage got down to 25 degrees, that means my washer is no doubt frozen up....oh well, it will eventually thaw out.

Have a safe and warm day,
Pat R.

OK Linda will advise if I see the reindeer....

I have had an oppossum on my patio the last few nights,
I have named her/him "Petunia"  she comes and eats the bird seed I put out there.....she's so ugly, she's cute!   I honestly don't know if it's a boy or girl, and I'm not about to try and find out either!!!

Ditto on the happiness and cheer,
Pat

Linda,

I have exciting news today.  One of our dogs, Patch, a stray mutt who adopted us recently and whose litter of puppies we thought was due on New Years Eve, had her puppies last night.  I don't know how any of you bear i****ching your daughters give birth - it was so hard to watch Patch whimpering with pain and effort - but I am now the proud grandmother of 4 puppies.  I will post pix as soon as I get a chance.

B: oatmeal w/ skim milk & mango
S: iced skinny latte
L: Korean-style beef rib, rutabaga
S: protein bar
D: salmon w/ fruit salsa, ginger-soy turnips
S: flourless peanut butter cookie (made w/ Splenda)
