Karen,

Oh, e-bay is a good idea.  But the shipping charges?!

Maybe a pre-formed fish pond at a garden center?  Those things are expensive, but maybe not so much in the off-season.

My mom always had miniature dachsunds.  I can't wait to show Mom pix of these babies.  Can't take any of them to visit her in the nursing home until they've had their shots.

Oh Jean, what beautiful additions to your family. Patch looks like such a good mamma. She is just a gorgeous baby herself. Her babies look just plain adorable too.

She is a very lucky baby to have you adopt her and her babies are lucky to have such great "Grandhumans" to take care of them. I bet mom is going to enjoy them so much too.

Thanks so much for sharing the picture with us. As you can tell there is nothing like babies to bring out the ohhhs and ahhhha around here.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Awwwww   nothing like the smell of a new puppy.  All that wiggling, whining, and baby cries.  I keep thinking of getting a puppy but I know it is not practical with Mom and my schedules and lifestyle.

Enjoy  Enjoy  Enjoy

I love puppies! None of my dogs have ever had puppies. But they're so cute and the little sound they make when you pick them up is the sweetest thing.

How about an old baby play pen? If there's not one at your house, they're always at the thrift stores. And if its too tall for mom, I'd think you could just cut a section out. Might be easier to find than a pool this time of year.

Nancy,

Oh, a baby play pen is a great idea.  I think I've seen play pens at the Goodwill Store.

Thanks,
Jean
