What's new? It's Christmas, that's what! Merry Christmas, what's up with you?
Stopping by to wish you Merry! Merry! George and Everyone,
Joy to the World.....
It's a rainy Christmas Day for us in Southern California. Liquid sunshine. We slept in (for us) this morning and I'm about to get the food stuff going to be ready to take to my son's house for dinner this afternoon.
We're anxiously waiting for that phone call from our grandson in Phoenix to share his news of a new guitar! LOL Should be interesting to see if he plays it for us on the phone.
I hope everyone finds the joy in this day and a special thank-you to those who are working on this day.
Hugs and prayers to you and yours,
Kathi
I hope everyone is safe and well and having a wonderful time with loved ones and those that are alone or working this Christmas are being watched over by our heavenly Father above and may EVERYONE of you be blessed.
Love & Peace,
Sandy

Wow, it is early ...... still dark outside with just a hint of dawn at the top of the volcano. I've been awake since about 3:00 a.m.....couldn't sleep so finally got up and watched some TV and decided to bag bed and get on the computer to check weather in Oregon where all my kids are. It's pretty miserable there. My Calif. kids drove up Saturday and have had snow, ice, icy rain since they got there. I am SO GLAD that I didn't join them this year because I'm going to Calif. in January and will do Christmas with them then.
Last night I had a lovely evening with my unique older friend (84) next door. She is a lovely woman and we exchanged gifts, had pizza for dinner, and yakked away for several hours with Christmas music playing in the background.
Today will be quietly laid back with dinner this evening at another friend's house. All I have to do is take a salad.....such a deal! I have spent so many years doing the whole shebang that it's a pleasure to be able to just enjoy the day and appreciate what it means in a non hectic way.
I hope you all have a memorable day and that you go to sleep tonight happily satisfied with the meaning of Christmas in your life.

We are worse than kids and couldn't sleep this morning. By 4:15 we were having our morning coffee and anxiously waiting to hear from our kids.
We talked to the older grands. The in-town kids are going to the other grandparents but we will see them this week end.
We went to see the little ones and they showed us the presents from Santa. Melanie was excited because she SAW Santa. It was fun to hear a 3 year old explain watching Santa as he delivered his goods, ate cookies, then turned to her and said "Merry Christmas Melanie". (She made her voice deep and gruff when repeating his words.) My son-in-law was beaming with pride. He did a ho ho ho good job!!!!
Love and Holiday greetings to all.
