I'm Christian, and for me, the message of Christmas is a message of love - God's love for us.
And, I'm a member of an Alzheimer's Disease caregivers forum, where I found this wonderful video today about the power of loving touch. CNN plays a slightly annoying ad before the video itself plays, but hang in there...it's worth it.

I believe in touch therapy. I have been in the healthcare field for 24 years and taking the time to hold my patients' hands has always been important to me. It is as important as the medicine that we give. Not everyone feels comfortable with touching.
