Just to update and keep praying!
Aloha dear Pat........You have humbled me and made me ashamed of my pitiful complaints on this day. Sometimes we don't see our lives in a bigger perspective until we are gifted a post like yours where a life is being totally challenged, but also lived with generosity beyond belief. Your strength and beliefs will indeed bring you back here with a miracle story.....one way or the other. I am convinced of it.
Thank you for your GIFT today of blasting me out of my self-indulgent pity party! If I could hug you, I most certainly would.
Aloha nui loa,
Maui Karen

Hi From PA Karen... My intentions were not to evoke such a deep response just to ask for some prayers... the way you feel about my post is how I feel about my situation and my relationship to my hospice patients. I have nothing on them nor can my trivial situation compare to their pain and suffering....they are my heros and blessing in my everyday life. I learn from watching them and I love God for putting me in this unique profession and job and equipping me to do it...I appreciate your prayers and your support and all that you shared with me today...Let's celebrate together...we are alive and we are free and I feel that warm Hawaiin hug right now and I thank-you.... 2009 is a new beginning and clean slate and I am anxious to see what God paints on the new year for me. 2008 was at times a struggle but wonderful none the less...Patricia
