I am seeing a Dietitian on Janurary 8th and I will also do My paper work for Medicare.
My name is Ruth Rowe and I have had My Lap-Band yet but I am still a bit scared of the unknowen as I am 68 years Old I will be haveing a Good surgens He is wiht the James Kane Center in Elk Grove ,IL He told Me that .because I am 68 I may have trouble when I am put under . But I guess I will put My life in my Surgens And hand and of corse I do Trust in Jesus . I was wondering has anyone My age or close to it had this Suregery and were they okay after .

I had lapband surgery and love my band - it was an easy recovery and I have had 2 fills - still have restriction and feel great about my loss. Congratulations on making the decision to do something to improve your life. I know for me, I have more energy than I have in a long time.

I want to Thank you for Welcomeing Me to the Board well Thursday is My Day to see Dietiton and then I will do the paper work For Medicare . then all I have to do is ait for My date for Surgery and I geuss I will have the prtien shakes too I don't yet until I see the dietition . Today I have to pck up the rest of My medication one I need badly that is My gred pill I cannot talk to My Husband abotu this stuff as He thinks iam on bad Drugs i don't even know what it is like to have dope .
