Cruise for me!!
Well on Friday morning we (my DH and DD) leave on our cruise. This will be our first time on Holland America (Maasdam). I am so happy to be 40 pounds down so the plane should be a little easier.
I am taking the dress I wore for my DS's wedding 5 years ago and when I tried it on yesterday, it was LOOSE. that is great - next time we go I hope it won't even fit. Yeah!
It will be great to get away from all this snow - even if only for a week.
Food should be no problem as there is always lots of protein - as long as I don't overdo it and get the foamies. (I sometimes forget and eat too fast).
Thanks for listening - can you tell I'm excited. It's 2am here and I can't sleep.

A cruise is one of my greatest fantasies. I'll never get my DH on one. He says he'll never 'cruise' again. He is retired Navy. My son and his family are going on a cruise this summer for our grandson's high school graduation. LOTS of the seniors families are going. We were invited, but I'll stay home and take care of DH and the dogs. I'd love to go on one with my Mom, my Sis, my daughter and my DIL. A real women's only fun time!

Well my DH loves to cruise (he was army), his dad was Navy and loved it as well. To each his own.
I hope to be real busy but will try to watch what I eat and how much.

My son wanted to go on a cruise next summer after he graduated too. We went on a cruise last Thanksgiving and this year we really missed going. We have a Thanksgiving 2009 cruise booked and a European cruise booked for the summer after graduation. We also are thinking about a March 28 cruise. Have to check with one of my sons teachers first, his class goes to Washington D.C. every year and we want to make sure its not at the same time. We love cruises and my kids are spoiled by cruises and don't want to go on any other vacations.
If I were you I'd go with you son and his family. DH will be fine at home with the dogs.
