Welcome home and know that we understand just what you are saying. I personally would be worried if you weren't afraid. It is normal to have those feelings. You are planning a big change in your life and know that we are all here for you every step of the way.

We laugh, cry, share and mostly love on this board. We are a forum without the drama of some since by the time you get to be our age you are well past the drama.

Please feel free to post often so we can get to know you. Just pull up a comfy chair and a cuppa of your favorite drink and join in on our many chats. You are one of us now there is no getting out of that one!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

welcome a-board

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi

I am also new.  I saw my doctor twice and am following all the rules.  I have to wait at least 6 months before my insurance will approve my surgery.  I am still undecided as to whether to do the Band or the bypass.  I am 62 years old and have been battling weight all my adult ife.  I hope that my insuracne will say "yes" and I even though I am frightened, I so want to do this.

Any advise, friends or comments will be very appreciated.
