W E L C O M E ..........  you are embarking on a great adventure in your life... former military wife here too.

I could use some pals to cheer me on because I know there will be tough times ahead: pain, possible plateaus, mourning the loss of food as a comforter, having to get more active and sticking to it.

ALL of this is true:  But Wait, There is More... for only $14.99 you can get... oopps  wrong infomercial.

You will have more energy, easier movement.  The joy of tying shoes and bending over without going into contortions.  Sitting comfortably in chairs, seats and booths, oh yes, sit in a booth...imagine....  shopping in the regular sized clothing section,  developing other comforts rather than food.  Yes, there is pain but also these really nice pain pills...  lol    People will oohhh and aahhh over the new you and you too will wonder who the heck SHE is in the mirror.  lol  lol

ENJOY your Journey...  a New Frontier......

Welcome, Joyce!  I'm a newbie to this board also and everyone has been SO welcoming!  You're on your way to an exciting journey.  It's hard to believe that my surgery was 4 weeks ago - it's been hard some days but not hard others and it's all about the results!  Ask any questions you have - these wonderful friends here have GREAT answers!

Best of luck to you in your journey!

Hi Joyce, I'm new to this site also, I found it to be very motivating and everybody is so nice.  It helps to get support from people who know where your coming from.  Good luck with your surgery.  Amy
