scheduled in one week
I don't post much, but just to let everyone know, after restarting the process 3 times and 3 years later, I have a date, Jan 14, 09. I'm excited, nervous but ready. Hubby even went on a diet to keep me company on my required insurance weight loss. I just made the magic number, but he lost 22 lbs eating more than me, not fair. Tomorrow is the pre op testing. I have started a blog, but when I tried to follow the directions for the weight loss ticker, it came out a bunch of computer jibberish. I am not computer stupid, but I feel really silly not being able to do it. do you put it in the signature spot?
Hi Sherry,
Congratulations on having a date! Mine is a week later on the 21st, we'll have to keep track of each other. I did the 6 month diet thing for insurance, but gained a few instead. The "last meal"syndrome! My surgeon has you do a 2 week diet. Its not bad1200 calories, then the 12th and 13th days are mushy food, the last day is just clear liquids...I think I can handle it.
As far as the ticker line, I have no idea either but I guess I've never tried. Maybe I'll try it tonight and see if I can get it.

Hello Nancy!
I am new on this forum, but I also have a surgery date this month on the 12th. Tomorrow is my pre-op. I just have this feeling that they are going to find something lacking in the tests - low calcium or something. I don't know whether anyone else has experienced this type of doubt before surgery.
Anyway, I will be watching the board here for news of both you and Sherry.
Hugs to both of you.

Hello Cheryl!
I am new to the forum and having surgery on the 12th if all goes well with tomorrow's pre-op appointment. I am glad that things are finally coming together for you. I thought my wait had been long!
I could not get my weight tracker to work right either. It listed the first weight I had ever put in as my goal weight when I added a lower weight yesterday.
Looks like there are three of us having surgery about the same time. It will be fun to keep in touch.
I will be anxious to know how your pre-op testing goes.

Those interrested, my pre testing went well, just long. Found out my surgery time too. 8:30am, be there by 5:45 am and its an hour 1/2 drive. Still have to wake up, shower and get dressed. I don't think I'll bother going to bed. eeekkks.
