Empty protein containers
Mary

I have two that I use for the pancake mix that I buy in a huge bag at Costco. I just write the mixing ratios on the outside with permament marker so I can throw the big bag away. I buy the large bags of Splenda at Costco too and one day I didn't zip the top of the bag closed very well and lost a lot of my precious Splenda on the floor. From then on I put in in one the containers too. Splenda is too expensive to waste and I can't live without it!

Hello, Mary-
My husband, JB, and my two sons are very much into cars and all mechanical/electrical/electronics stuff and have millions of little pieces that they save and store.
They use my big protein plastic "jars" & lids to store their parts in, labelled neatly. The lids keep the dust and moisture from corroding or gumming up delicate moving parts and they are all the same size so the shelves in their barns & garages look nice and neat and they can find what they need immediately.
They have even created a "master list" and have numbered the cannisters with the contents so they can go directly to the correct cannister and save time.

lol..to be honest, I dont know because I only wash what's in the laundry hamper...I guess they learn years ago, if the dirty socks arent IN the basket, they dont get washed.
We are very into recycling...long before the trend was here..because my husband is from Holland and Europe has been recycling far longer than us in North America.
ack..we have a freezing rain storm warning!

For Christmas I got my son one of those banks that counts the coins as you put them in. Thats our Disney Cruise Fund. We may be booking a Thanksgiving 2010 cruise. You should come along with us. We'd have a great time together and the girls would LOVE it. Disney World was almost as expensive as the Disney Cruise . At least twith the cruise you get your choice of good food that is WLF and its all included. Don't have to worry about fast foods and eating on the run.
