Today is my long day. I will be at the university from 10 until 9 tonight and it wears on me.  Luckily, I can hide in my office and rest my eyes for a few minutes between my busy schedule.  It is cold here but not as cold as you guys north of the mason dixon line.  Making your own yogurt sounds good.  If you don't mine, do a seperate post and give us the details so we can join you in making yogurt.  I can see me adding lots of fresh fruit and berries.

Thanks Cindy for starting the thread.  Good cold morning to everybody!  I like Carla's cold weather 62.  I wish that would be the low for the day here. But not here in Ks.  I am just  glad that it is  not the -22 in MN, though.  We have lucked out on the snow.  We had some flurries in the evening yesterday.
Not much going on for me.  Just need to get going and get ready for work, but wanted to say HI
George good luck with your oncologist appt. Please keep us informed.
Carla, I hope your next few months go smooth and I hope you get rid of your migraine soon.
I love reading what everyone is up to. Most of the time I don't get on till the evening.

We were supposed to get blizzard conditions here too, but so far it is only light snow....and sub-zero temps are on the way.....why aren't I living in Florida???

Laundry going, and working on shredding six years of old tax records.....just gotta love it!

morning cindy and my OFF family!!!

well its another snowy day here and it was snowing so hard it was near white out looks likeits letting up some but they are calling for 2-8 inches depending on who you listen to!!! finally they cleaned the parking area yesterday...about time!!! walks are another thing!!! covered in ice and still mountains of snow here and there....

yesterday i had some coffee and toast and man i will NOT do that again!!! i had the runs big time!! felt sick most of the afternoon too!!!! guess it was from the 5 day pouch test and eating bread to soon....not sure. all i know is no more for a long time!!!!

looks like i will start training a new woman for the food court starting wednesday. she is really interested in working there so hope she works out. tried asking HR for different hours and she said she would talk to me later...yeah nice brush off....i told her way back when i was interviewed for this job i would work SOME weekends...well its been EVERY weekend since i started there!!!! only ones i had off was to go back to michigan!!! come on people i do have a life here at home....and if this other woman retires i want dibs on her am shift hours for sure!!!!!

cindy...how do you make yogurt? please share?

connie i had long hair at one time about to my waist...it was stringy (so mom tells me) and thats why i am not sure about letting it grow long again.

linda b i had some of those garter type things for the sheet corners and not sure if those were packed when i moved here. so they don't really work huh? hummm guess i will have to do what you did...

SH have you tried tylenol pm so you can sleep? i take 2 every night and i sleep all night through.

annette...do you have verizon? if so we can talk anytime...otherwise after 9 pm for me or free all weekend...but then i work weekends...grrrrr

carla a woman i used to work with used to have nasty headaches and she snorted sal****er...said it work wonders for her....you might want to try that...let me know.

Hi Cindy and Friends, Wow, Cindy I think you just sold a bunch of yogurt makers! It does sound good. I go in spurts with the yogurt. I like to put Grape Nuts or granola in mine but have i****ch it as I tend to like granola too much. The good ones are just like candy to me. Can't get enough of them.

Today is my daughter's 2nd anniversary~ Life has really changed for those two! Less than 2 years and almost 10 month old daughters. We're needing a "baby fix". Think we'll call the kids and ask if they need a babysitter for Saturday night!  I think we can get over there now. May go down through the Columbia Gorge as the passes are still a mess with flooding and mud slides.

We decided to go ahead and finish the roughed in bath downstairs. The basement room is like a big open family room. It is finished except for flooring. We decided to just do a sink, toilet, and tile in the bathroom. The shower would add a lot of expense and we don't need it. If anyone sleeps down there the toilet and sink would be the necessities. They can shower upstairs. Found tile for 99 cents each. Just a plain neutral ceramic but like it as well as some that was $3.00 each.

Nothing much else planned today. Need to finish my teacher's retirement application, get it notorized and sent in. I can start drawing in March when I turn the big 60. I quit before I had enough years in so had to wait.

Still windy but promised a neighbor that we would walk at 9am. Will just bundle up good. Not very cold, so I can suck it up and push against the wind! Maggie just about blows away so I'll leave her home.
