Thinking and soul searching
Thats very insightful, Katharine, and I applaud you. Accepting myself has been my biggest challenge especially because the two people that I'd have expected to love me no matter what, are the ones who do NOT accept me for who and what I am.
I find it so interesting how we all come here ...how we all start out with the goal of "just" losing weight and yet we all develop so much more afterwards...because beyond losing weight, we seem to evolve to another level...we find ourselves and learn to love and accept ourselves...not from the outside- which might have seemed to be out outmost goal,- but from the inside.
Thank you for being you *s*

Katherine,
I applaud your strength and the place you've arrived at, it is so freeing to reach a place of accepting oneself, but I find, for me, that as I continue to grow and change, it is not a onetime event, but comes in stages of self realization. Thank you for sharing yourself and I identify strongly with your last sentence.
Hugs and best wishes for the best that life has to offer and the strength on those days it tests your resolve! Laureen
