Aloha dear Eileen.......You are a great kitty mommy!! Some people are just not cut out to be parents.....and go ahead and have them anyway, and someone always loses in that decision.

When the memory of this trip and all the bedlam fades in my mind, I know I'll be left with the funny, happy, snuggy, lovey memories, and those of a 2 year old climbing the drapes, a 4 year old stomping around on the deck in his ice skates (his dad would have made mincemeat out of him over that), a baby pooping in the bathtub...will fade like the pain from childbirth........LOL.

Now I think I'll go rent "Cheaper by the Dozen." It will mean so much more to me now~!!

Thanks for the welcome home. HUGS TO YOU!!

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

Glad to see you back and now you can go back to painting pictures of the beauty that surrounds you.  Hope you feel better quickly!

Hugs, Laureen

Aloha Laureen (You are becoming more beautiful by the day!)

My senses are filling by the hour of tropical healing. It's a beautiful day today, and the ocean is so blue, the puffy white clouds over Haleakela are like cotton candy, the guests down on the lawn tanning convince me that I'm really back.

Thank you, dear one, for the hugs.........I so love them!

Aloha Linda......Omigod..I was so close to you! In fact, my DIL's father and step mother stopped on their way back from Carmel one day while I was there. My brother's little house in Carmel was being used by some friends so I didn't go down there this trip. Actually, I was so busy, and so sick that when I had a few hours to myself.....I slept!!

I know I will be back.........and hopefully can meet you for lun*****armel one day.

Aloha baby sister Dee!!

Thank you for the welcome home...means a lot. I'm getting lots of kitty love, and there has been a mama whale out in the bay all day with the mama teaching the little one to breach. The baby basically leaps out of the water and wiggles and flops back in......so cute!!

It is so nice having you as a part of the family BEFORE you have your surgery. We will have known you from "the way you were" until the day you tell us "I am at goal!" That is my story. I was in here long before I had my surgery.....and a lot of these wonderful women have known me when I was TWICE MY SIZE!! I have given away a whole 171 lb. person. I wonder where she went!!!! Down the drain........Ha!

While I'm hugging things...here comes one for you!!

Aloha nui loa,

Aloha my darling shining sister in red!!

As of tomorrow morning I'm putting on a swimsuit and sitting on the lanai til I'm brown like a chocolate bar!! My babies filled up a part of me that needed filling....and now Maui and all her beauty and peacefulness will fill another part that is still scurrying and hurrying and hasn' slowed down yet.

Hugging you is what I'm now doing........cyberspace kind is the best I can do!!

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen
