Well ,I am trying to get to bed and as it is after midnight I thought I would just start the thread. Carla it is sogood to hear you sounding so much better. Me, the most NON morning person ever, will be at Curves for the circut  training at 7:30 AM, yea right ,like I can even move at 7 in the morning. But I went and signed up on Friday  and they wanted to know when I would come in. I just don't know what is going to happen this week so I thought I would get it over  with. After that I will go into work for a staff meeting and then at noon leave for the hospital where Liz will be done with her amnio having a hour baby stress test while they wait for the results of the amnio, if it comes out good. WE WILL HAVE A BABY !!!!omgomgomgomg. So needless to say I doubt I will be on here...unless they send her home to wait another week, I just can't believe the time is finally here and Liz  made it for 36 weeks. She went off blood thinners on Friday, so we shall see. Your positive thoughts, vibes and prayers are really appreciated. Today was a great church day. Then I bought supplys and have been making burp cloths all afternoon for Liz and a girl in our Legion Auxiliary who is having a baby boy  also. Of course their showers are the same day. Yikes, speaking of showers the church ladies are giving Liz and Ray one next Sunday, it ill be a taco feed. I said I would make all the meat. I asked today. Will 10 pounds be enough? They  said "oh No we will need 40 pounds". gulp.. me and my  big mouth!! So How was your weekend. Do you do anything special for Groundhogs day?
Ray (SIL) told Liz that the baby is going to stick his head out and if he sees his shadow he will go back in for 6 weeks. what a smart aleck.. Well I'm going to try and get some sleep.. Blessings

Top of the morning to you Jean. I hope that today is not a good day but a GREAT one for you. Prayers are going up for Liz and the sweet little one too.

Harpo is not happy with me at all. He is madder than a old wet hen and he isn't shy about telling me either. I tired to sleep and was up in the bathroom every 10 minutes so I thought why bother to go back there. Such stomach pains~omg they are doubling me over at times. They started at the start of Lay Speaker school this afternoon. I was in such pain then I wanted to scream but I just sat there like a good girl and suffered in silence. Oh what a martyr I am sounding like. It is like that old saying about Momma. If Harpo isn't happy no one is happy. He makes darn sure of that!

I am suppose to go and have a short meeting with Pastor this morning but I am not sure on that. It depends on how Harpo is doing. We have to iron out a couple of minor problems that is happening at the church on a regular basis. That shouldn't take much to fix. Or at least I hope so.

Bill is working days today. He is getting up at 5 and then off to work he goes. He is sleeping like a baby bu****ch him tell me that he hasn't slept all night. He does that. He had a dream a bit ago and said out loud that "You are always making excuses". Heaven only knows who he was talking to.

The weather here is being good. Saturday and Sunday it got in the mid to upper 30's and it was nice. Things are melting but it is suppose to freeze yet again so that isn't going to be good. Someone in church said that if the groundhog sees his shadow it is going to be 6 more weeks of winter and if he doesn't it is only going to 1 and 1/2 months of winter. I thought that was rather funny. True too if you ask me. Either way the 6 weeks of winter is going to seem like an eternity to me.

I better get going. Harpo is showing me he is getting angry again. My hernia is hurting too. I am keeping a close eye on that one the most. If it gets much worse or keeps going like this I am calling the wls doctor and getting in to see him.

I am sending  love and hugs to all along with prayers and special thougths too. Have a super day and I hope that something happens to make you smile today.

brenda...my birthday started out with the stomach cramping before it escalated to the throne sitting...be careful; don't venture far from home and stay hydrated!hugs!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Dear sister Brenda.....Please pay close attention to your body. It is telling you something, and I don't want you to neglect something that might be serious. I agree with the others who say I'm worried. Please at least call your doc and describe symptoms and see what he/she tells you.

Sending you a hug...a very gentle one.

Aloha nui loa,

Good morning Jean B. and all you OFFers.

Had a great day.  Went to our old Sunday School class in downtown Dallas.  We had not seen any of them since before our WLS.  What a great feeling it was.  Then, it happened to be their monthly luncheon, so we got to go out and eat lunch with everyone.  Had a great time.

Went home and took a nap.  Then went to a Super Bowl Party.  60" TV in the living room virtually to myself.  Most everyone else was in the den with a 36" TV, sitting around the pool table.  I finally joined them for the last quarter.

Went home and took a two hour nap before coming to work for four hours.

Today is just a normal work, work day for me.  But we know what that means.  TV, radio and internet.  LOL.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

For some reason, I am having trouble sleeping this morning.  Going downstairs to make SF hot chocolate soon and so some reading.

Leaving for the retreat about 9 and will be back home Tuesday before lunch.  Looking forward to it.

There is a snow storm scheduled for today and tomorrow, so we will see what we get.  haven't really had any snow to measure here.

Have a great couple of days!

jeanb you'll have to come on and tell us all about hunter --or call my cell and leave details (you know it's off while i'm at work) and i can post.....awwwww such a sweet moment waiting for baby hunter to be born!!!!!!!!!

no-nothing special for groundhogs day here...and no matter what he says we know it's still winter in ohio! thawing but sposed to get cold again

as i am typing, the fire signal just went off this morning-i cannot get used to that -after 4 years here i should be--i noticed wednesday, while it was snowing to beat the band , that there were 4 different signals- presuming ppl had fires and not car accidents or heart attacks....just does my heart flip flops when i hear it......the other thought that goes thru me is how sensitive my trinity (great dane)was to it and how i would have to reassure her that we were ok and someone else needed help...gosh i miss her still....

and that leads me to brody boy.....whoa boy he sure can take up lotsa space on a bed-boy is all legs!!! ( i remember melissa saying he sleeps in a ball-ha!)  we got this king sized bed basically cuz of him and he really was pushing it this morning...he's all spread across the dead center of the bed and had his paws on my butt! if this continues, he'll be sleeping in the kitchen!

well...work today .....hopefully some shopping afterwards...if i'm not too tired....

hugs and prayers.......

Mornin' Jean and Everyone,

Best of luck with the baby news today!  Very exciting.  I remember my mom making Sloppy Joes for the church with 40 pounds of meat.  Quite a project if you ask me.  I wouldn't even know where to start.

Quiet weekend with nice weather.  We hit 80 degrees on Saturday.  I finished a baby blanket and almost finished the matching sweater!  I have to purchase two buttons for the sweater and then it's finished.  I have two babies coming this spring so it's been fun.

Absolutely nothing else to share so have a great Monday each and every one.

Morning Jean and the gang,

Wow.....what a busy day you have in store for you! Hope all turns out well with all of it, but mostly with Liz and little Hunter. What a darling name. Forty lbs of meat??? That's gonna make  a couple hundred tacos, I'd imagine!  Good luck with that, darlin'.

Groundhog Day?  Thirty five years ago I married my first husband. A fitting day to marry who turned out to be a 475 lb rodent! Lasted 17 months, including the time for the divorce. Thank you God for making me wise up in time to get outta there!

Our new to us treadmill is sitting right next to my desk, waiting for it's maiden voyage. No excuses now. I have to run to Sam's for a couple of things this morning, then come home and buckle down and get my tax papers in order for my meeting with the accountant next Monday. I hate seeing how much money we make, because then I realize how much we spend 'cause there sure isn't anything left over LOL.

Ok....breakfast, Gary's lunch, treadmill.....let the day begin!

Hugs and love to all

Susan
