I haven't started this thread this week, so I figured I would give it a go.

Had my endo..somethiing...ologist appt yesterday.  He says he thinks my episode the beginning of Jan was just a fluke.  So he then says, just to be safe, I need you to come in some morning so we can take some blood and the test your adrenyl gland.  I told him this is morning, I work overnight.  So he says let's do it now.  SIX TUBES OF BLOOD!  That is what they took from me.  I might as well have donate plasma and made some money.  Geez.  At least it is done.  Now to wait for the results.  I hope he is right, because I don't want to take any more medications than I have to.  Right now I just take 2 medications and the rest are vitamins and supplements.

Well, chat it up folks.  Have a good morning/day.

morning george and all! hope this doc can get it straightened out for you! when i give plasma i don't lose any of my blood-just the plasma part-the machine seperates the two and then gives the blood back! but i understand your comment!!!sure wish that the plasma place could do my blood draw for my labs--i am way overdue!!!

i'm up again- this is ridiculous! i know kathikins says she gets up this time every day- well- i am not used to it anymore but the dogs sure are already...dang it!
michael is having the big "d" again this morning- gosh i hope it's just his nerves and not a bug again--i cannot get sick again--can't miss anymore time from work-and with working 11 hours yesterday (and ultimately today too) i am too tired to be sick! i am amazed at how tiring a sitting job can be!!!!sorry for whining!

did basically nothing after work-got into my jammies right away, checked the boards, had supper and finished reading the book i had at plasma-there wasn't enough left for my session tomorrow so i can now start a new book! and went to bed by 830....boring....

i did read on the caringbridge site about my super's daughter--her platelets are really really low and i guess she is not doing well again-she is on the accutane treatments....so much for a 10 year old to go thru.....

need to get my curlers into my hair....
hugs and prayers to all.....

**edit for the weather report-- it's -3* and i have to go start the car; it sat outside...brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

What kind of books do you read?  I have Patterson and Grisham's new ones on the way.  When their books come in, I normally put down what I am reading for them.

lately i have been reading debbie maccomber ....somehow i have never really been a fan of patterson or grisham...dunno why..never "acquired " the taste?....i do not like stephen king etc...and i don't go in for mushy or those dime store type romances.....i enjoy historical and non fiction things...has to be a fairly light read to get thru plasma-something i can read during my session park it in the car for a few days and pick right back up where i was!
i adore Richard Paul Evans and will put anything else down for him!!!! i wasn't extremely thrilled with the glenn beck book -the christmas sweater.....

How much Patterson have you read?  And which series?  There is Alex Cross, Wives Murder Club, and the other one.  Can't remember it's name, but it has nursery rhyme titles (or some variation).

What I like about Patterson is every chapter is 3 or 4 pages.  Easy to find a stopping point.

I love Patterson books. I can read one a day. The problem is now that he doesn't write them. I find them not as captivating as before.

Good Morning George and all my OFF Family:

We had a dusting of snow yesterday morning here in the good ole Southland.  So that means we have seen a good dusting twice in one winter!!! WOW!! That is unsual for us. This winter is the frist time we have see snow since 2002!
I know I should not brag as having lived in snow country once or twice myself I know how terrible it can be.  Temp today is supposed to be really cold for us around 18* getting up with a high of 37* then tommorrow a heat wave in the 50's. By next week 70's.  So I have no complaint about a little dusting.

I am so frustrated with a deal that I have been trying to close for months.  It is one of those that everything that could hold us up has held us up.  Finally thought I was on the down hill side and the attorney did not sent out all of the paperwork!!!! GRRRRRR!  We are trying to close a Real Estate deal through the mail and clsoing paperwork was overnighted on Monday afternoon. Received on Wednesday (so much for overnight!) All of the documents were not there!  I have to run interferrence with the attorney this am to see where his head it.  Man do I deserve a bonus on this thing.

Went to WL Dr yestersday and got a fill. They gave me .5 cc which should put me at 4.5 cc's I think. I hope that this will make a real difference and the scales will move a little bit now. I will take the 1/10's of pounds!!!

Well, I had some hot cocoa and maybe I can go back to sleep.

Ya'll have a blessed day and stay warm.

Hugs

Good Morning George and Everybody,
We are in for a nice day/ Temps near 32. Of course they are predicting a major snow storm at the beginning next week.

All my paperwork has been sent into my insurance company for approval. Finally, things are looking up.I should hear something in the next two weeks about a surgery date. I have 36 days into my quitting cigarettes. All I have to do now is give up the pop and caffine amd I am good to go.

My son got me a quit smoking reward--- a 60 inch TV. I can't believe it. I can't wait either. The Daytonna 500 Nascar Sprint Race is going to be awesome on that TV. I am looking forward to that. Well that's about it. Take care.Love ,NancySunshine
