Oh Nancy, Thank-you for sharing that with us. On "whats new" I just gasp when you said you had received those lamps. My first thought was " I would just have to redecorate what ever room they went in. What a special gift for a very special you..Blessings 

Those are beautiful.... I have a couple of cups and saucers in that pattern that I bought in England about 20 years ago.

Hi Nancy. I love Old Country Roses. I bought this lamp last year and have it on a little curio in the foyer just outside the dining room. I have all kinds of pieces besides the dinnerware in the dining room hutch, on the fireplace mantel, etc. I am always on the prowl for new pieces! Clocks, figurines, even bookends! Especially since I heard Royal Doulton/Royal Albert might be going into bankruptcy! Hold on to those pieces! I get all kinds of comments as people go out the front door about the lamp. Show them off!
