What's New, THURSDAY!

Good morning ya'll.  Gonna be another lovely day here.  Of course, every day I wake up is a lovely one.

My DH's weight is back down to his pre gall bladder surgery weight!!  Woo hoo!!  It had gone up 15 pounds and I told him is was probably swelling and gas!  Apparently I was right (as always, HAHA).  He has his lap band pre-op doc visit Friday and it HAD to be back down or the doc would have gone ballistic!  We are going to O'Charley's for their soup for lunch today, though.

My Momma called last night all in a tizzy.  Has been having all kinds of problems.  Now her PCP thinks she needs her gall bladder out.  What has concerned her is, the PCP wrote a referral to the cardiologist saying 'patient with heart disease needs clearance for gall bladder surgery'.  She knows she has had heart probs, too, but seeing that in writing freaked her out.  I also pointed out that at 85 she would need cariologist clearance for gall bladder surgery, no matter WHAT her heart condition was!   I'll be going to see her the 19th to the 26th.  Unfortunately the ultrasound to look at her gall bladder is the 16th, and the cardiologist is the 27th!  I can't change my flights, I'm squeezing this in before my DH's surgery!  Hopefully, they will be able to schedule the gall bladder surgery when I CAN be there!

Morning everyone.   IM  sitting here trying to decide if my cold is getting better or if I am.   I hope I am!   Its grey and gloomy out here today but still real warm for Feb.  We got out and got all the winter litter picked up so the yard looks real nice just brown instead of green.

Good morning to you, Nancy. I know how difficult it is if you can't get on the computer when you need to or want to for that matter. It can be so frustrating. Glad to see you with us again.

It is a warm but rainy day here today. It is 50* out and we are going to get about 2" of rain. Then they are saying that toward the end of the day we are going to get snow flurries possibly. I sometimes think that Mother Nature is not sure just what she wants to do. Poor thing~maybe she is getting memory loss just like the rest of us.

Nothing much happening here today. It is going to be one to stay put at home and just do what I want to. That is always a good day. I should work on the homework for Sunday since I didn't do much on it yesterday.

I guess I should get moving. I am wanting to have breakfast. I already emptied the dishwasher and did some other things out in the kitchen. Still just kind of walking around in a foggy haze this morning for some reason.

I am sending love and hugs to all. Prayers and/or special thoughts are for everyone today. Hope that we all continue to have smiles on our faces. It not only helps us but it helps others too.

Hello dear friends, 
Not much going on here, just the usual, which is good some days.  The girls eyes look much better today, not so red and sticky.  They had drops in 3 times yesterday, so they were ok to go to school today the doc said.  Later we go to get the new car for our daughter.

Not a good day food wise already. Must be stress triggering head hunger.  Had shredded wheat at 6 am and oatmeal at 9 am.  Hope that sticks for awhile.  too many carbs already today though....

What a nice post Nancy !!Your crochet work sounds so pretty. I have always wanted to crochet, but don't seem to have the knack. Have done a few scarves but thats about it. Thebread and cheeses sounds so wonderful. yummmy. I am doing burp cloths like your dish cloths, I bought a couple of yards of flannel and they just keep going and going, I can't waste the material. I made 5 each for a friend and DD.made 2 for myself, I think I will have the material used up after 2 more. Then I will get started on the walker bags for the VA hospital. After being up with baby Hunter, I came to work and jumped in to a pile of work, I stopped to check in with my OFF family and I am starting to wind down, I feel like just bursting into tears coming down from adrenelin I guess. Have a good day all.

oh poop-i haven't mailed you the buttons yet--i have about 100??? ok- that's on my list.......

Hello Nancy and Happy Wednesday to you....and everyone...

I finally got my Valentines and gifts mailed to my grandchildren. Hope they get them by Saturday. I just haven't had any energy or desire to get anything done this last week. I am so behind!!

They sky is dark and gloomy....sure wish we could have a little sunshine. It has been a long time. No wonder I am so down!!
The temp is 33 degrees and that isn't too bad for this time of year.

George...I have the Forever Box all ready to mail. I will get it mailed tomorrow. I forgot it when I went to the Post Office today.....CRS!!!
