Connie, Thank you so much. Oh to be at goal. . . I must have a reason that I am stalling. And that is exactly what it is. It's almst like I'm afraid to get there. But I am so much stronger than I used to be. I can do it, I can do it. I remind myself daily of that little engine: "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can. . . "

Happy Surgervisary Karen!!!!
Thank you for shaing your story and thank you for being here when I arrived on this site, in most part because of a post that I had read from Margo on main board in July of 07 when I was still a pre-op. . . you are one of many who have encouraged and supported me on this wonderful journey. . . I cannot wait to meet you in October and am sooo looking forward to it! Even though I am still not at goal and even though I am only 16 months post-op, there is so much of what you posted that I can relate to. . .
What I can say is that today I am thrilled to be alive, truly living life and once again I wish you a very happy surgervisary!
Hugs, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Laureen, Thank you. You inspire me daily! This is a life long journey not one that we will ever reach the end of. I'm trying to enjoy the journey tho I would like to reach goal too. Must give myself a good talking to and get my head and mouth back to doing what it takes to take off and keep off the pounds. Sometimes I forget that it wasn't brain surgery and my head is still so screwed up sometimes. I can't wait to meet you also!
