Monica,

My goodness, the thing that comes to mind in reading your post is, when it rains, it pours, though in your shoes, it appears to be overflowing the embankment. . .  I sure do hope you get some relief soon and having lived life soberly for the last 21+ years, I can certainly understand the feeling of pride you possess in yourself going through all of this soberly!!!  Good for you woman!  Be proud and hopefully, sooner, rather than later you will have naked feet and a reason to dance in them!

Sending you warm thoughts, positive healing vibes, prayers and cyber hugs, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Dearest Monica......You certainly have plenty on your plate and I am so sorry you are having a difficult time.  Prayers go out to you for tomorrow's tests.  I am glad that you can share this with all your OFF friends.  It's best to get things off your chest and here is the best place to do it.  You are in my prayers Monica.  I had my 5-6 kidney stones "blasted" this morning at the hospital.  The procedure is called Lithotripsy.  I am very sore, tired and feel like the truck that brought the machine wo Williston also ran over my body!!  Hopefully I will be able to pass these critters without incident.  You see, everyone has problems and I feel I can tell mine here and have wonderful people understand.  Many have gone through what I have and that helps to read about.

Lotsa Love going out to you Monica....

I'm so glad to see you posting again. I'll tell you something, when I read what you're going through and then to hear you are still sober, it literally brings tears to my eyes. I don't even know you yet I feel so proud of you.  My father struggled with alcohol all his life and I've seen first hand how difficult it can be to deal with.  I hope all your worries evaporate with the first warm sunny day in MA.  It's coming soon.
