What's new Monday?
Gosh, haven't we all? I talked to customer service today and changed my order to the buy 3 get one free offer. Total w/ shipping was $38 and change. You have to eat 6 a day to get you recommended amount of calcium in, but I figure I'll take my regular calcium citrate tabs and then have these as my "treat". The lady on the phone said they taste like Tootsie Rolls, and they're probably coming out with the Lemon shortly.

Hi Margo and my OFF family:
I hear the East coast is getting pounded by snow ... I would have to be out driving in it (eventually) to go to work (no snow days for newspaper people), but it's not snowing here, just cccccold. It's 6 degrees, feels like -7, according to my Weather Channel desktop thingie. Boy, do I feel it in my computer room. I'm shivering!
When I was in the kitchen last night washing the IcyHot PM off my hands (that stuff works but it stinks), I knocked my blender cup off the counter (it was in the sink drying after I washed it) and the spigot that dispensed the drinks broke, so now I need to buy a new blender. I tried closing up the hole where the spigot was so I could use it, but it didn't work. If AchievOne would get its act in gear and get back on the market, I wouldn't need a new blender for my morning protein drin****il then, I have to get a blender or use a shaker cup, which I have never found got the clumps out of the protein mix very well. I finally found a mix that was close enough to AchievOne (NectarLatte Cappucino) if you used it in the blender, but now my blender is broke (or at least the cup). Arrrgh! If it's not one thing, it's another!
I have PT this morning ... would rather go back under the covers and stay warm. Man, it's cold. It was nice watching baseball over the weekend and seeing all those people in shirt sleeves in Arizona and Florida. Wish I could be there!
Well, maybe another cup of coffee will help warm me up. Or a hot shower. Have a good day.

Good morning Margo and OFFers!
I'm home this morning too, got a doc appt at 9. I really should be getting ready! George went to work this morning, I know he's happy to be getting some normalcy back. Better get going so I can drink my protein shake. OH, it's 37 degrees and sunny! What the heck happened to the 70 degree weather we had at the end of last week. I hope this is winter's last hurrah!

Good Morning my dear Margo and others,
It's been awhile since I've posted so thought I'd let you know I'm still alive. I haven't had much time to even glance at the boards. I do try to get on once in awhile to check on Dillinger. I feel for Laureen because it hasn't been that long ago that we went through the same with Spencer.
I've been getting busier at work. About a week ago, I told my boss I wasn't happy with my job because I didn't think I was doing the level of work I should be. He couldn't believe what I was telling him and so now I have more work and more responsibilities which I love. In fact, on Friday he told me I would start to take minutes for this very high level meeting. The exciting part is that this meeting is held every two months in Washington DC, so I'll get to travel. What an opportunity!
I'm so excited today. Yesterday I decided to go with the church on Friday to a Men's Retreat. The organizer spoke at our church yesterday and assured us that we will come home a different person.....for the better, I presume. lol I'm really looking forward to it.
Last night at church we had a Talent Show as a fund raiser for our mission to Nicaragua. It was so much fun. Brenda and I have decided that we will try to go with them to Nicaragua next year. What a vacation that will be.
I'm getting tired of this cold weather. Spoke with my mother in Texas yesterday and she said it was cold there.....50. Sure meets the teens we've been experiencing. At least we don't have the snow the east coast has. This weekend is supposed to get to 62. Figures, since the Men's Retreat is north and will probably be colder there.
Well, work calls. Even though I don't get on to post often, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Brotherly Hugs,
Floyd

Brother Floyd,
Thanks for you support and caring with my sweet faced boy, Dillinger, he is happy and resting comfortably today, even has a good appetite and is feeling well enough that I had to get the leash and go get him in from chasing the fence after the dog next store at midnight last night, found him licking his underbelly where staples are this morning, first time, so I'd say considering all things, he is doing well, just wanted to say thanks and he gets the benefit of my lap today ;) Going back to be a lap pillow now. . .
Hugs, Laureen
