What's new Monday?

It's been too long since I popped in - I know. Life just gets in the way and then when so much time has gone by it's even harder to "get back in the groove".... I'm sure you all know what I mean.
We're both fine and so are our loved ones. It's another yucky weather story from here today , it's supposed to keep being yucky through tonight and into tomorrow.
I've been keeping busy with all I am involved in and then we added joining our local chapter of Lions Club Int. I was asked to perhaps take over as the web site co coordinator for our club. I'm mulling it over before I decide. I am leaning towards turning it down as I really have a plate full as it is and we're so new to the organization I still have too much to learn etc before I'm comfortable taking on such a task.
I've stepped up to be the head photographer for the garden club and the un official one for the Cape Cod Museum of Art as they cut their staff and the person who did that is no longer there. I've been plotting out 3 more bigger flower beds too, in our big ol' backyard.... that'll make 25 of them all together. Sheesh when I type that all up and re read it all I get pooped . Oh well - it keeps me off the streets and out of trouble too.
While we were on the phone and our computers Carla and I booked our room in Asheville,NC. All 4 of ( spouses and us) are really looking forward to April 7th ! We booked a big room together - can you just imagine how late into the night we'll be awake gabbing and giggling !
We're planning our spring trip to visit John's family in Pawleys' Island,SC ... leaving home April 2nd. I don't think we'll be taking our fall trip back to my family back in Wisconsin this year. So maybe we can take some "long weekend " trips closer to home instead.
It's going to take me awhile to gho back and try to "catch up" with all your goings on .... I have missed you all.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi Margo and friends,
Geeze, I started the thread on Saturday planning to pop back in and post to everyone. . . Well, my company arrived about noon and I haven't had a breather until just now! Had a great time. We spent hours going through Mom's boxes of pictures, visiting, eating, visiting some more.
They left this morning. Mike and I had to buy trim for the downstairs and I had a lunch date with a neighbor. Am now straightening up and washing sheets.
We're experiencing rain, fog, and wind, but hey it's well above freezing so I'm not complaining.
So happy to hear from Maui Karen. I know that dark cloud of which you speak. Sometimes it just dumps on me and I'm not sure why. I have so much to be thankful for but sometimes I just have to look for the moldy spot in life! Hope that your sunny outlook returns.
Debbie S, so happy to read about George's prognosis. Sounds like healthy diet and exercise is a good prescription to me!
Hi to everyone else out there and a special hug for Nic and Dillinger and anyone else who needs one.
