Impaction,not a gentle subject..
I made some great home made granola bars. Oats, nuts. seeds. wheat germ, flax seed, a little dried fruit, held together by 1/2 cup honey and 3/4 cup splenda brown sugar substitute. Makes 16-18 bars. Lots of fiber and vitamins. Might help with the constipation problem. let me know if you want the receipe or look on line for homemade granola bars. Lots of combinations and variations. I picked one you don't have to bake. About 180 cals and 24 carbs each but lots of good stuff in them.

Big mushy hug back at ya Linda girl. You can afford to eat some nuts or oatmeal, something like that a little each day, raw veggies too. Pop a prune or some dried figs once in a while. That stuff is plentiful in AZ. Get creative. We don't want you to blow up some day cause you're full of ----.

Aloha dear Linda.......Oh my....you have brought back memories that I choose to repress! I have been through what you describe several times and it was like having a baby!! Horrible.
Since I tend to get constipated, I take daily two red stool softeners......and I try to eat a lot of fibrous things, too. Even with that, I can tend to get bound up if I'm not very careful.
I know you will take steps to see that this doesn't happen often. So sorry you had to go through it. I dread it when 3 days have gone past I mother nature hasn't visited! Ha!
