Happy #5 Re-birthday to Me!!
HI All
3/15/04 Wow Just does not seem like 5 yrs ago. When I started this journey I weighed 360lbs. I now weigh 225 which is 22 lbs higher than my lowest weight. I was back up to 250 at one time not too long ago. I was one of those folks that never got below 200lbs.
I am a success to most Doc's because I have kept off over 100lbs, but, most days I don't feel like a success. With some of the regain & stress &
garbage that has been in my life for the past 7 or 8 months I am surprised I was able to lose 25 of my 50 lbs regain & still losing. Some of my old health problems have come back like high BP & Diabetis, but, with the new Doc I have is working on getting those under control. I was put back on anti-depressants this past week & can already tell a difference,
& that will improve even more in the next couple of weeks I am sure.
I am still very grateful for the opportunity to have this surgery & realize we have to fight everyday to win the battle against demons that try to come back. Some days we win, somedays we don't. God is good all the Time !! Hugs & prayers to you all!! Marilyn C (Bearlady)

Marilyn, I just want to congratulate you on your journey. It has been quite a journey too. You have accomplished a lot these past 5 years and you should be very proud of yourself. You have had your ups and downs but what person doesn't~especially one that has gone through the things that we all do. Your road is a bumpy one but one that is much better than the one you were on until you came to the fork and you took the correct turn.
Again congratulations and may you have many more of the fantastic years ahead of you. And may you always be happier today than you were yesterday.
