Good morning, Jeane, I hope that today is a good one for you. I hope that the sleeping in this morning is not a sign of a hectic day for you. I know that usually happens to me when I sleep late~the whole day turns hectic. It might just be in my head too. With me who knows!

So far for today I have not planned a darn thing as far as meals are concerned. But here goes nothing..........

B: sf oatmeal with sunflower kernels added
L: deli turkey breast with cheese
S: slim fast low carb shake on my way to getting DIL for her ultrasound
D: chicken and steamed veggies
S: I am thinking nothing

I should make some sf pudding today so that I can have this and for Bill's lunch too.

Have a great day and I will meet you all back here tomorrow.......same time and same place.

Love and hugs ..........

I goofed, grabbed the container of stewed okra instead of the beans.  Oh well, at least it was edible!

Hi Jeane  -  I always thought tha****ermelon is the fruit with the highest number of carbs.   Here's what I found online  -

Carbs in watermelon One serving (100 grams) of watermelon contains 7.55 grams of carbs.
Sugar in watermelon One serving contains 6.20 grams of sugar.

Fruits

Apple

38

Orange

44

Peach

42

Banana

55

Watermelon

72

I'm not saying that you shouldn't eat it, but it is high on the glycemic index.  Just fyi.

That is strange.

I was on a diabetic board and they rated  fruits as being best for low in carbohydrates:

1. watermelon
2. strawberry
3. cantalope
4. avocado
5. honeydew
6 peach
7. blackberries
8. grapefruit
9 oranges
10 papaya.

I guess I need to be careful in believeing everything I read.  I appreciate your setting me straight!

I think watermelon is very high in carbs but pretty low in calories.  Is your list for calories?  Strawberries, blueberries and raspberries are lowest in carbs and a small apple has about 15 carbs. Search carb counters on line and check the numbers so you know for sure.  If you're still losing you must be doing things right. Congratulations on that.
