Hello
Hello everybody. Here I am back again. Haven’t posted in awhile. A lot of things going on with over 50’s. I haven’t read everything yet.
Susan, Happy Birthday to you.
Connie, I hope everything is okay with your granddaughter. Who says once we raise our kids we don’t have to worry anymore. I have a feeling I will worry more with my grandson then I ever did with my kids, that is I know I will.
Pat, I am sorry about your grand doggie. I know I would miss mine. I have more grand doggies than I’ll ever have grandchildren. I am also sorry about your cousin, Judy and I hope she beats this.
Eileen, I am so sorry about your job and all the worry you are having. I hope everything works out with that also. These are tough times. I understand about you being limited about standing so long, so it is hard to find a job. I wish I could have stayed working at Hobby lobby, I really liked it there, but my job that I am at now is more stable. Or I hope it is. Hang in there, everything will work out.
Paulette, so glad about the good news on your thyroid. Hope you get the Gerd straightened out.
Jean is your daughter still going to work for the CoCo Resort.
Carla, glad to see you are doing better. I would love to go to Orlando. They have this new Agua something or another that looks like it would be fun.
I have been going to physical therapy 3 nights a week. I have bursitis in my left hip/thigh area. Plus soreness in that tendon that goes down from my thigh to my knee. It hurts to sleep at night and also hurts to go up and down stairs. I finally gave in and went to the Dr about it, so he recommended therapy. No more stairs for a while. I didn’t know how much I used the stairs at wor****il I had to quit going up and down them. Hopefully, after I get this healed up, I can start doing it again. I was trying to do the healthy thing and use the stairs.
We had another friend die this past week. He was the father of one of the boys who goes to school with my grandson. We have known him a few years and he was friends with my daughter and family. He was killed in a truck accident. He and his boys were just a mile from their house when he swerved to miss a deer and flipped his truck. None of them had seatbelts on. He died instantly and the boys survived. One of the boys broke his arm and is pretty sore. The other boy that was friends with my grandson fractured his shoulder blade. I know they say seatbelts save lives and they should have had their seatbelts on but it looks like if they would have stayed in the truck the boys would have been crushed. The cab was completely crushed. We have had a lot of car accidents this past week where people have lost their lives and they were not wearing seatbelts. 4 people have died. I just feel so sorry for those boys, losing their father and I feel sorry for their mom, but at least she didn’t lose her boys.
Not much else going on. Just have been enjoying the nice weather we have had been having but now they are talking snow. YUCK! I thought winter was over.
Take care.
Mickey

I am so sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble with your bursitis and hope the therapy will be of help to you.
Please know I will have you in my prayers as well as the family of the man who was killed in the car wreck.
The cold front is here in Virginia and we had some cold rain this afternoon and the promise of more tomorrow.
I took a nap this afternoon and am just worn out! So I will have some soup and yogurt in a bit and then probably go back to bed for the night.
Take care,
Jeane
