Margo, I am so glad that Michael was well enough to come home. It was fantastic that he didn't have to have surgery either. My prayers still are being said for the both of you.

I am so glad that you are spending Easter with your son. Family always (well....most of the time if you have family like mine!) makes holidays special.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

That is good to hear Margo. Those NG tubes may be uncomfortable but sure do the trick.

Julia - that is beyond sickening. Will you have grief counselors to help teachers and the children deal with this?

Susan - I sent your list to all my support group members. (over 200 people on the list) My e-mail box has been overflowing with POSITIVE responses. The Nebiwes loved it and the WLS Veterans gushed with thanks for the reminders. Why don't you post it on the Leaders Forum??

I am sitting with my friend's 99 year old Mom again this morning. She is an amazing woman. Most of the time her mind is very sharp. She can't always remember what happened yesterday but her tales of the past are vivid and clear.  Physically she can almost run circles around us. Twice a week she attends a dance class, enjoys her art class, goes out to dinner with friends, and is involved in a reading group. A pleasurable morning awaits.

Just a quick note Annette:    I had 16 people at my support group last nite.....the small room was overflowing!  I was thrilled.   We had a lively discussion and went over our allotted time.

Need to print off Susan's list.

Good for you Pat. That is a managble sized group. You have developed a great group in a short period of time.

Do you send out meeting notes to your group members? There is always a positive response from people, especially the ones who are unable to attend on a regular basis.

I find it too expensive to make 200 copies so I send many articles via e-mail. Hot-mail has a nervous breakdown and has put limits on how many I am allowed to send in one day.

I would love to be one of your group members. It would be fun to see how others run their group.
